  1. ^ does that make Torres our Plan B then?
  2. I like him. But this is Wigan. They'll add another £10 million to his actual worth. But, in all fairness, do we really need him? He'll be a bit part player at best next season if we sign him. He's better off going elsewhere.
  3. Fuck off am I bossy! You're doing the dishes for that one, peasant! P.S.
  4. He tackled Rooney with a fucking back-heel, definitely a Brazilian.
  5. Sorry, didn't see your request. I often ignore this thread Changed to "Droogman".
  6. Why, because I'm a boring cunt? I'm pretty eccentric in real life, my internet "persona" couldn't be further from reality. Amen to that. Best year in the history of history, I'd say.
  7. The topic was archived and I only unarchived it yesterday. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/10101-member-of-the-month/#entry224499
  8. ^ good. The place has suffered in the absence of good posters such as yourself.
  9. Would love to win the game with a Bale own-goal in the 98th minute after Spurs miss two penalties and AVB is stretchered off after Ivanovic "accidentally" wipes him out.
  10. Say what you want about him, but Rafael Benitez knows how to fuck Sir Alex Ferguson over, big time. Well played sir, well played indeed. Totally outwitted Old Purplenose tactically. His team selection was spot on as far as I am concerned. Putting Luiz back in defence ahead of John Terry, and bringing Ramires back into centre midfield alongside Lampard totally nullified any midfield threat from United. Granted SAF helped Rafa by naming a "weaker" side, but it is still Manchester United. We deserved to win yesterday. Anyone who says otherwise is biased and bitter.
  11. After playing for a big club that is going places such as Atletico for three years, why would you want to leave? I certainly wouldn't.
  12. If we win this game, we've guaranteed top four football. There is no way Spurs can recover from six points behind thanks to our impressive goal difference. Alternatively, if we draw this game and pick and up 4 points from Villa away and Everton at home, that will obviously do the trick. We just can't afford to lose.
  13. Right, as it is May the 6th already, and we have a lead of +3 votes, I am officially naming THE ONLY PLACE TO BE as our MOTM! Congratulations!
  14. I think I'm in love with him to be honest.
  15. Like I say, totally missed you out by accident. I'm like a chainsaw in a library. No fucking, bitch, no fucking remorse.
  16. I have absolutely no idea why he was loaned out. We knew we'd be in the EL, and he'd probably have started every one of those games.
  17. Absolutely loved how he turned around and bollocked Moses and Luiz for not tracking back when that little shit Rafael crossed in unopposed and he flicked it behind. Give him the armband.
  18. Probably the best RB I've ever seen play for us. Even Ferreira in his 2004-2006 pomp wasn't as good as Our Dave.
  19. Definitely think we're a better team with Ramires in the side. His desire and effort is absolutely infectious. Seeing a player give his all is the fastest way into the hearts of supporters. He also seems to be one of our new "big game" players. If you look at the goals he's scored for us, a very good percentage of them have been against very, very good teams: in 2010/11 he scored only two goals, but one was a game-winner against City that sealed second place for us (50% of his goals were therefore in "big games").Last season he scored 12 goals - including goals in semi-finals against Spurs and Barcelona, one in the FA Cup final, one against Valencia in a crucial UCL group stage game, before scoring at Anfield later in the season - meaning 5 (or 42%) of his 12 goals can be counted as "big game" goal. This season he has scored 7 goals - but three of those have been against Manchester United, including the equaliser in the 2-2 FA Cup draw, the equaliser on the day in the 2-3 loss, and the winner in the 5-4 League Cup win. You don't get much bigger games than those! That means 3/7 - 43% - of his goals this season have been of massive significance.I know it is a crude and subjective measure, but it does show he truly brings the goods to the table in the big games - by my reckoning, 9 of his 21 goals have been in massive games for us. That is 43%. Not bad, eh? You then think of all the assists he had provided in those games - ones that immediately spring to mind include the winner in the first leg against Barcelona and his cross for Drogba's opener against Napoli in the 4-1 win. Big game player indeed.
  20. I honestly don't think we will ever see him play for us.
  21. Yeah. Definitely an own goal by the FAPL's legislation. Personally I think that a goal should be given to the player who last scored touched the ball on the team that just scored if a shot is deflected. Obviously if a player passes the ball into his own goal then that is rightly an own goal, but Mata had a shot with intent that went in - albeit from a deflection. Should be his goal. But me moaning won't change a thing.
