i think its more that the media kept on confusing them in pictures when talking about either one of them

and you also misunderstand the importance a goal has to a team. Whether its a winner or the second goal of a 3-0 beating - simply put a goal boosts your team. Could his goals be more decisive sure but as long as he is scoring at a good rate that won't matter as we have other players to help carry the load

we lost 3 HG players already Terry Ake Begovic with only one replacement in Christensen . If we could secure a HG player that scores 20+ goals a season in all competitions that's worth it to me. His goals carrying him to only 7th in order for Lukaku thats a poor way of looking at it. Look at Diego for example he scored 20 goals but because he had Hazard Pedro Willian Alonso all chipping in we won the title. If you look at the stats of Everton's goal scorers after him you will see the gulf in class - coupled with how poor their defence was he would have had to score 20 more goals for them to finish in Top 4 .. thats crazy to put on one player alone

People also fail to remember that due to is ability to stay in the PL Lukaku also counts as HG player which is a huge need for us as we seem to be losing English players in the first team as well as HG players. This will not only matter in the Premier League but also in a CL. The only HG player to score above Lukaku in PL was Harry Kane and how much would he go for especially with "English Tax" . I read a stat that said only 4 players scored more against "top 6" PL opposition last year - Alli, Vardy, Hazard, Sigurdsson - than Big Rom.. I think a lot of us are vastly underrating his ability and him going to United is not a good thing no matter how you look at it..
