I don’t think Poch training is worse than Conte yet we seem to be getting so many muscular injuries. It doesn’t make sense. It’s been like this since Tuchel far too many injuries

He only started top flight football in 2016 and has slowing been improving shown by his current result

I honestly think we need to move on from Cucu Chillwell and Maasten - we need a quality LB that can stay healthy and more importantly than that we need a whole new medical department because these reoccurring injuries for all these players is madness.

Like you, I played at a decent level even on trial at Newcastle United and Hearts during my teenage years, but I played as Mid/CB, and reading the game was something my dad who coached me for most of my life drilled into our team from a young age. You have to know where the danger is, in that situation putting yourself between the ball and the nearest attacking player.

Exactly Poch can't put the ball in the net for them and he can't stop them from having mental lapses during the game. That is on the players a manger can only do so much, but as said this team is very young and these are the growing pains. We have experienced a lot of success but that was a different time with players who were forged in fire. We will get back it just won't be for a few years.

I also agree with the team being young but defensive positioning should be drilled into these guys. If you can read the game well a lot of these kinds of goals don't happen. Look at Silva it's only that his body can't keep up with his brain anymore - but when we first got him he was one of the best CB in the PL because he could read the game. Like if you don't have exceptional pace like a Rudiger for instance you have to read the game well. And none of the players we have back there are doing that, hence the chopping and changing of the partnerships.

Can we bring in a defensive assistant coach who will just work on the defending when out of possession? We are dire at defending crosses too many ball watchers.

Maasten can't handle the physicality of the PL

I honestly think Badi should have been the one to challenge in the air but he was ball-watching and Colwill should have tracked that run but as CM if you are going to pass off the runner you have to let your backline know, not just assume they could pick him up so that goal was a combination of Caicedo , Badi and Colwill.

And we just learned why Maatsen doesn't play. He can't handle the physicality of the league

We should have gone for Victor Boniface instead of Jackson before he moved to Leverkusen. He’s a solid 9 - 6’4” and mobile with good link up and overall play. He might be they cheaper pull the Victor Osimhen.

Fast becoming favourite player on the team. So much quality - a little selfish sometimes but you need that in the attacking third. Also I read somewhere if he gets one more yellow card he'll be suspended for card accumulation. In our upcoming matches which game would you accept that card.

All of our penalties were all well taken and Petorvic dove wrong way I think only once.

I think Sterling is our guy the person who we play through at the moment.. that’s who Mudryk was at his previous club but the level is different. As long as he continues to impact games in the way he did at the weekend, I’ll be excited at the prospect of his growth.

Happy he finally broke his PL duck. Now just needs to kick on for the rest of the season.
