My arguement started with LDN blues statement that he isnt the player we (as in chelsea fans) were made to believe, that he hasnt made the impact people expected. I was genuinly wondering what he meant by it. I still haven't got an answer. I'm not defending Hazard for the sake of defending Hazard. The way you're quoting me is entirely out of context.

I promise, if someone deserves criticism I'd be the first to admit. Hazard is far from the finished articicle, he has flaws he has to work on. But I can't resist responding to the arguements some members keep bringing up here, as they make no sense at all. You might wanna check a few pages back. Stop trying to improve? How do you come up with this stuff mate? What on earth makes you suggest he doesn't try to improve? You should praise him for his very decent first season in the premier league, not because his name is Hazard, instead of being overly critical for no obvious reason at all. Mata hasn't played that well for a few games now, a few more quiet games and he's ready for the bench amirite?

Change a few words in those sentences or think of different manners or tones he could have said this. This shit gets taken out of context all the time. And it's the fucking Sun ffs. Ofc he cares about Chelsea, it's his employee and he's a genuine fan. He's just a smart kid who realises it's better to not be at Chelsea right now, not only because this place is a circus but because he knows it would hamper his development.

What did you expect? A 22 year old Messi? Do you honostly not see the difference between his role in Lille, where every ball went to him and here at Chelsea, where he get's the ball every so often if he's lucky, where he completely had to change his game in favor of defensive duties? Tell me, who else in this team except Mata shows more skill than Hazard? WTF do you expect of a 22yo guy, what 'have you been promised'? Seriously, I'm baffled. Some people are blind for his flaws, that's true. Think most are just excited of having him in our ranks. He still is one of few young potential world beaters out there. I think he's doing just fine.

He made good runs, a lot of our attacks went through him. You can expect a player who tries to take on defenders rather than pick out a pass to lose the ball every so often. I agree he lost the ball too often though this game, something he'll have to work on. Second after Lampard for me as motm.

I don't need to watch highlights, I've watched him for years I didn't say he hasn't got trickery, but compared to Hazard he's more a man of the perfect pass/cross rather than a player who beats defenders using trickery.

Hazard: trickery, menace for defenders KDB: excellent crosses and a cracking shot, wouldn't say Kevin has a LOT of trickery, he's very smart though and has a certain grace in his play you don't see often. Playing him on the wings with 1 maestro benched might actually work well.

Probably too early to judge, but Musonda Jr can turn out great. Piazon and Chalobah for now. Someone mentioned Thorgan Hazard; I would be REALLY surprised if he'd make it here.

I've got a feeling he'll end up at United next season.

This would be a very good post if it wasn't for the total bullshit about Hazard not offering enough to the team. I really don't understand what some of you expect from Eden. I wish he cost us 20million or less tbh. His pricetag makes people be way too critical. It's not his fault Chelsea paid that amount of money. Without taking transfer fee's into account, would you honestly say Moses has more potential than Hazard? Quite staggering if that were the case imho. Don't get me wrong, I like Moses a lot. I like his intensity, his desire to make things happen, his sharpness. Moses together with Mata and Hazard (or Oscar fwiw) works well, because he offers a more direct approach compared to Mazacar. But he's also terribly wasteful and when he has a bad game, he's fucking terrible. PS: Have you seen any games since november? Hazard's workrate and tracking back has improved a LOT for what it's worth. He didn't need to at Lille. He was their main man. He does try to defend now, which btw, restrains his attacking abilities unfortunately.
