He should just stay at Wolfsburg and join Bayern next season

He might be a model professional and a great man, a Chelsea legend doesn't sign for Arsenal. Such a shame.
-
lol
-
Lol, 45m for Griezmann, he's hardly worth half
-
He IS a CB who plays RB for Belgium as we have no worthy fullbacks. He never plays LB. If we sign him, which I hope we don't, it should be for the CB position
-
He's a versatile box-to-box who is technically excellent and defensively solid. Comparing him to Mikel is insulting. They're both strong, tend to slow down play and often play it safe, that's about where the comparisons end. I'm not saying he'd be an ideal signing, but for the reported 18M fee he'd be a steal and we would finally have some cushion in midfield and wouldn't have to rely on Ramires or Mikel.
-
He didn't develop as well as he would have in a better league, he's stalled his progression a bit. He's still a top midfielder in my eyes who could suprise many when he finally comes out of obscurity

Relax, Zenith means exactly the same. You might get a sense of the type of player he is by watching a few times, that doesn't tell you the whole picture. Opposition fans watch Hazard when we play against them and base their opinion on that game and a few highlights they see on TV. My point is you need to watch a player constantly to assess them, which our scouts obviously do otherwise they wouldn't be interested.

Where did all these Witsel experts come from? Don't tell me you watch Zenith.

That literal Dutch translation <3 I agree though.

Every damn time you browse this thread you read the same shit someone else said a couple of pages ago

Impressed with Denayer, can see City keeping him for the season
-
-He might have been used oddly at times but apart from some decent games around Christmas when he assisted a few games in a row he's been absolutely awful. Like not being able to play basic football awful. -Unless we sack Mourinho we're not gonna play 2 strikers. Remy has been used on the wings a few times, that's not what i mean by playing 2 strikers, talking about the position. -I know his current wages, he'd have to take a dramatic cut in pay. I understand he may reach form again, I don't think it's a risk worth taking
-
-He's been bad ever since his ligament injury.. You'd think we've learned lessons after Torres. -We basically never play 2 strikers so Costa and Falcao understanding each other means very little -Drogba was 37 and on relatively low wages; Falcao at 29yo and monster wages as 3rd striker makes no sense. If we should sell Remy this would seem less crazy but I don't see why we would. I think the crybabies have reason to be critical of this signing.

Dunno, only used him as an example, I'd rather we sign no striker.
-
Ok but that's a lot of if's =) He'd have to take an INSANE cut in wages to make it worthwile. I'm pretty sure 3'rd striker in a one striker system isn't something he'd agree on either.
-
Just wondering, have you seen a lot of Utd games this season? Just trying to figure out why you'd want an expensive player who was dreadful a whole season and is past his peak for a position we don't really need to improve?
-
Remy won't be third striker here, he's good enough to be first striker in most PL sides imo. He's always contributed when called upon too. It just doesn't make sense in any way, unless Remy wants to leave. Costa, Remy, Bamford should be our strikers while investing in positions we actually need to improve
-
He has gigantic wages and is a shade of the striker he was at Atleti. We have Costa and Remy. This makes no sense whatsoever. I'd rather we get someone like Dzeko, if we want to sign a striker at all.

Ofc this guy was gonna react, you like taunting ppl don"t you

sounds like bullshit to me, never heard those rumours edit: whatever though, my point is none of us know what went on, not gonna get involved in a pointless discussion again
