So we could pull it off trading him for Falcao and if we are going to get Falcao we might as well get Hulk and Moutinho, they have an incredible understanding, notably Hulk and Falcao obviously. I said this last summer and I will repeat it, we NEED to sign this guy and he said if a big club offered for him he WOULD move!!! He is basically capable of playing as a deep lying playmaker, higher up in advanced positions and even left and right midfield as he has before at Sporting. Even though he plays in the Portuguese league, he is one of the major stand out players in the Porto squad along with Hulk and James Rodriguez. He may cost about 25 million but I think it is worth it, it will be a good investment as he has his best years ahead of him as he hasn't peaked yet and he has good technique. I'd say he is kind of like Xavi with his footballing intelligence and technique.

Marin has suffered since Ozil left Bremen. So maybe Mata and Marin could form a similar partnership and possibly with another winger in the attacking 3 of a 4-2-3-1 I'm sure we'd be fine. Anyway I don't think Juan will play against Blackburn so he is 100 percent for the CL!!

Johnson isn't the greatest option out there, he is vastly overrated because he plays for City imo. Would take Victor Moses or Scott Sinclair(doubt we'd get him back anyway) ahead of him any day.

Dzeko was different class at Wolfsburg, has been hot and cold at City but I'd still take him as he is an improvement on Fernando Torres imo.

Pfft Cavani over Falcao, dont get me wrong Cavani is good but Falcao's record at every club hes played for speaks for itself. Absolute beast of a player. 36 goals this season in all competitions I think and has an incredible record in the Europa League, 28 goals in 29 games.

He was very good commanding his area tonight, coming for crosses etc. Also made a few decent saves as well! I remember against Celtic a while ago in the Europa League where he pulled off a wonder save from Ki Sung Yungs free kick as well, was one of the best saves I'd seen from him. He has had a very very successful year in Spain and in the Europa League but I reckon he needs to go to England now for a year... what about Fulham? Dembele is there, Schwartzer is like 40 and getting on AND we could try put Lukaku on loan there as well as a sweetener. Martin Jol seems to be trying to build a side where he is giving youth a chance so why not? would be great for all parties imo.

I don't think we will see him and Drogba in the same line up simply because one, Jose once said Drogba eats up the competition and two, we aren't Stoke City!

Despite what some others have said about him tonight for the time he got he played quite well. Fuck the haters.

Hard to single out any positive performances tonight except Bertrand's maybe, most of the team were poor. The defense was a shambles especially JT and Branna. I think RDM's team choice tonight was terrible, we were meant to be fresh but we looked nothing of the sort after Liverpool scored. Now we can let the youngsters play against Blackburn at least, Lukaku showed bits and pieces but nothing major except for that header which he should of scored (if it was Torres who had headed it and missed half the Chelsea fans wouldn't be on his case) but I think people should cut Romelu some slack as he hasn't had a lot of games anyway. He will improve with games, same with Romeu who had his worst performance in a Chelsea shirt tonight by far, just the fact he hadn't played for a while as well. Plus what was that referee doing? Shelvey and Suarez should of been sent off along with Ivanovic who tried to elbow Andy Carroll on purpose by the looks of things. Hopefully we ask the FA to investigate the Suarez grapple thing and he gets banned again cause hes a complete and utter fucking cunto.
