  1. Good ebening Bruno Fernandes anonymous all game and they made him captain too tonight 🤣
  2. Also is it just me or has Bruno Fernandes been one of the worst players on the pitch? And they’d even made him captain? Wtaf
  3. Tight call. Cavani again with another big goal what a signing on a free at his age. And people laughed when we were linked with him too!
  4. Lindelof still should do better either way. Shaw should’ve seen the block off coming as well a million miles away.
  5. Maybe but if they need 70-100m they won’t get it shifting Vidal, Kolarov, Young etc will they? So someone will have to go. IIRC I read that he named Lukaku, Martinez, Skinirar, Barella and 3/4 other players as untouchables apparently and Inter couldn’t guarantee it which contributed towards why he left as they felt he would he managing with his hands behind his back. The success without spending part you mentioned is a weird one because now a days, most of the successful managers and teams spend a lot. I think you have to now, I mean look at Klopp and Pep at Liverpool and City for example, coaching only got them so far in competitive leagues. Tuchel is the same here he will need to spend in the summer. Wanting or feeling the need to spend doesn’t necessarily question him as a coach for instance. Fair point re Atalanta, as they are an interesting team for sure but you get the feeling that they’ve gone as far as they can and again its going to take investment to spur them on. Same with AC Milan which lets not forget they spent a lot of money on young players a few years ago and again brought a few in last season. Spurs also we seen they clearly hit their ceiling with Pochettino. Leicester 2 seasons in a row in prime CL spots and lost out probably due to a lack of squad depth. So theres always a flip side. I think if Inter had done better in the CL maybe he wouldn’t of felt so inclined to ask for more players but they finished 4th didn’t they?
  6. What a shite game so far. Commentators maybe even worse than what these 2 have done so far though. Also on Wan Bissaka, great defensively but when he gets the ball, he either cuts inside and loses the ball or dribbles into someone. Abysmal. Also hope United get beat, Bruno Fernandes wankfest will be over with. No more Cantona comparisons 😂
  7. We dont need someone who’s career is basically winding down/wound down as an elite top top level footballer. Or even if he rediscovers some of the magic he had he’s 30 now, high wages for 2/3 seasons before moving him on again? Plus do you think we will be going and spending 40/50m at least on a 30 year old? Really? With our policy for 30+ year olds? Let him go to PSG, he will be a makeweight for Mbappe.
  8. Well I suppose either way, you can see his point. They spent money and wanted to be competitive, to win titles, they've done that now and are yanking the carpet from under him more or less. If they sell one of Lukaku / Martinez / Barella / Skinirar (their most valuable assets undoubtedly), yes it would balance the books but the quality of those players are near impossible to find, never mind on shoestrings as well by sounds of their finances. I think it won't be surprising if they manage to maintain top 4 but I will go on and say that they will be miles off the title with Inzhagi if they sell one of those four. Crazy they won Serie A and finished last in their CL group though. Inter need to be careful though, Juventus and Roma will be better next season, as will AC Milan undoubtedly.
  9. Crazy. Inter not going to improve, particularly in Europe, a great deal by cutting 70-100m off their budget in all realism though. Going to mean a Lukaku or a Martinez or a Barella has to leave and they are three of their best players. Seen he had said there were 7 or 8 players he wanted to be deemed as untouchable but they need to shift someone to make money. Simone Inzaghi looks like hes going in there, will be interesting, used to a smaller budget but any team having won a title the expectations are much bigger and Inter wont want to just disappear after 1 good season particularly how long it took them to get back to Serie A champions and plus with Mourinho at Roma as well as Allegri going back to Juventus potentially they are going to be in a weird place. Be interesting to see if for 70-100m that losing Conte will be worth it. I am surprised they haven’t found an investment from somewhere else but suppose COVID still affecting others.
  10. Hes 21 years old mate. Him, Pulisic, Havertz, Mount, Gilmour etc are all in the age range of 19-22, nobody’s ever the finished article at that age...
  11. Only issue with Chilwell is his lack of aggressiveness/determination to make a real impact on the game in the final third compared to other fullbacks. When he arrives in the final third he doesnt really do so with the aims of influencing the game in the same way that other fullbacks do hence why hes only got 5 PL assists in almost 2300 minutes. Although I suppose for a fullback thats maybe not the worst but there sure are times he is extremely frustrating. Think his last PL assist was v West Han a month ago. Then before that his last PL assist was in December v Villa. He only has 2 assist in half a season with Tuchel in all competitions which isn’t great. All in all, could be worse could be better in terms of his performances at times, the price tag always going to weigh down on him if he doesn’t up his level though and become a better player. I think mentally he isnt ever going to be driven enough to become the best or one of the best in his position though and that is worrying.
  12. Yes signing Marquinhos would be great in terms of his ability but this is also the player Tuchel played as a DMF a lot.... would like to sign Verratti if possible but I doubt it will come off.
  13. Lewandowski would be unreal. But no way we get him. Surely not
  14. By watching the games. Dont start with this you spent about half a season defending someone who couldn’t control a football or score in a barrell full of fannies, so this is a bit bold from you 😂 Although I would say, ironically, without Mount we are probably similar to how we look without playing Werner under Tuchel in recent times.
  15. 2 games? Over the course of a season? Really? When he’s played over 50 games. When he was very good v Real Madrid in both legs which was our best performance arguably with Tuchel? No? Maybe but you’d think he was a league 1 player by the surprise he was even in the running for POTY and the general response on him when the results don’t go our way is baffling and ridiculously naive 75% of the time. I mean did anyone expect him not to be? Really?
  16. Well I suppose all the fans who voted him POTY are wrong then? When hes probably been our most vital player under Tuchel... if you like him or not, the difference with him and without is huge.
  17. Oh please. That was the same for Demba Ba, Loic Remy, Danny Drinkwater among many others. Then all these guys were not of the required level and it showed. If he didn't play for us in the academy/u23s years ago it would be a non starter. I mean even Ziyech, Havertz, Werner have all struggled its not as easy as he will be better cause we have better players than Leeds
  18. Jesus. He will be thrown to the wolfs first time he misses/plays bad. Decent player for Leeds, not good enough for us.
  19. Jesus. 22 year old who isn’t consistent gets slaughtered after a team loss. Yet again, insufferable reading some of the absolute pish against some of our players by the usuals who say fuck all when hes doing well and only ever seem to care when this team is losing games so they can bitch about certain players. “Ridiculous choice for POTY”, ok..... Yes there are other players who could have got it, maybe so, but isnt that the same with POTY every season more or less? Theres usually 2/3 players people think aye he could get it. Mendy and Silva maybe can be up there no doubt, 100% but Silva hasn’t not exactly had some bad games/moments plus people tend to forget how bad our defence was with Frank where Silva played and made high profile mistakes/bad games. Mendy or Mount would of been my shout and luckily nobody had said about Werner being POTY in which I think I would delete my account if I had seen anyone put it...
  20. Obviously nobody wanted to be finishing only fourth this season but in January that didn't even look possible with Frank so lets not hide behind the truth. Getting fourth whilst stated at the beginning of the season originally would be an underachievement, we got there and got to 2 finals so to say its not an improvement on last season would be lying also. We have improved considerably under Tuchel. This was always going to be tough to gauge an actual achievement this season because of the unrealistically low expectations with Frank in all fairness, 4th last season was seen as a major achievement despite finishing 3rd the season before with 80-85% of the same squad. Not to mention being like 12 points clear of United IIRC last season by December time and they end up leapfrogging us. But getting this group to two major finals on top of getting to 4th either way, considering the dysfunctional team with no real structure when under Frank, its a clear sign of progress. Yes its not enough for some people and ultimately I still think the players have a lot of blame for not winning the FA cup, plus today and the Arsenal games also showing the fact this squad/team still needs more and can do much more also. The summer be interesting but the majority of what I have seen with Tuche so far, there is clear signs there and an opportunity with some additions that we can likely be the closest challenges to City next season (my personal opinion if we stick with 343 and add say 3 top top players we will be very close).
  21. Its not a huge issue but surely someones got to see the danger there no? More so Werner considering he ran right past him. No idea who lost him originally but abysmal and avoidable either way
  22. Aye but does he not think he should maybe try follow him no? Considering the ball rolled into him. Its not rocket science surely. Abysmal goal by all accounts
  23. Seen some of the highlights. If we do sign another attack next season we will do better. If not, we are fucked. Also, wtf was Timo doing at the corner for Traore’s goal, I get its not his man but he just watches him run past him basically.
  24. But they still went in right? Another 15 goals for us would of helped this season. Be it from Tammy, from Kovacic, from CHO, whoever. Those extra sort of goals would of been appreciated considering out striker went on two barren tuns stretching probably close to 30-35 games in all comps.
  25. Never watched it but we got CL so cant complain too much.
