You got a point mate, but the problem is that those opinions are usually escorted with insults to other chelsea players (ex:" why didn't torres start?, drogba is shit"). In general, the match thread is getting annoying during games that aren't going our way, and does leave the impression that some members are not heartily supporting the club.

How do you compare a Drogba performance to a Torres one. Drogba is a target man who plays with his back to the goal. His main job is to use his physical strength to receive long balls, which he did very well, I thought, against Leverkusen. Torres is almost the complete opposite. He uses his pace to make runs behind the defense. In terms of form, I have to say DD is on a better form especially that he scored in mid week, welst Torres, in the last couple of matches, seemed indifferent. He was just not getting in the box enough to score.

In the CL, the matches between the two level teams are taken into consideration before goal difference. Meaning a goal-less draw will see us through having draw 1-1 at the Mestalla.

I'm actually not upset about the performance. It was much more solid defensively despite being so unlucky as to concede so late. Once again we could've sealed the game when we were 1-0 up, we should've had a pen at 1-1 as well. I think was lacking our performance is a bit of luck. Now, all we have to do is pray that Genk conjure up at least a draw at home to Bayern. Heads up guys, KTBFFH.

We were losing the midfield battle. Putting on Mikel allows us to have more possession in the last 10mins so we could pressure their defense.
