  1. I totally agree, I think we got too excited about De Bruyne. I watched him in 3 CL matches this season and I honestly think we are better off giving Milan Lalkovic a chance to play for the first team.
  2. Bravo. The point about Didier's contribution was especially interesting. I felt he had a pretty good game especially in using his physical strength to receive the ball in the "hole" to set up attacks.
  3. I think that line up has a great chance at winning any game...mainly because there's 12 players on there!
  4. Oh that's just so sad. He was a great football player. RIP
  5. I just saw the penalty call and I have to say he deserved red. It's just like the Rudy one with Ramires.
  6. What idiot wrote this? The whole article is from AVB's press conference before the wolves match. But most of it has been taken out of context and rephrased to make the manager look bad. The author is trying so hard to wreck AVB's image, I almost feel sorry for him.
  7. No thank you, our defense is messed up and vulnerable already. Besides Mikel is usually as likely to cover Luiz's spot in the defense as he is to score a goal.
  8. I'm all for criticism as long as it is constructive. The message that I was attempting to deliver, is that the Torres vs Drogba war has gone on, now it seems, for ever and has proven to absolutely pointless since the matter of who is better is far from factual. Every fan has his opinion on the subject and no one is convincing anyone to change his opinion. Why don't we aim our criticism towards a more positive direction.
  9. I don't know whether or not Torres should've started today's match, but I do believe that AVB probably knows better than every one here. Why can't we ever support the manager's decision even when it works very well?
  10. I didn't have time to watch the bundesliga today. Good result for Dortmund, Schalke were in very good form. It's always nice to see Bruma score as well. (His second for the season if I'm not mistake.) He was a starter in all of the four or five matches I've watched Hamburg play this season. So I assume he's a regular starter for them.
  11. I think he needs a loan in Jan if all our midfield players remain on form. The amount of pitch time he is getting, even with the reserves, is just sad.
  12. That's great to know. It's always good to have one of Chelsea FC's own in the coaching staff.
  13. That was fast! Good work as usual. I always enjoy your match reports most.
  14. How about Felipe Melo? He has the ability to every bit as good as Modric.
  15. Oh no, not another ridiculously expensive probable flop!
  16. Great performance from almost everyone. Went for Mata's efficiency, though Dany and Oriol deserve a mention as well.
  17. A much needed win, clean sheet, and overall performance for the blues. I think AVB has done his job very very well for this game starting with team selection and not ending with tactics and subs. I felt Romeu gave an excellent first league match performance we all were sure he was capable of. Benching Lampard was well time as he really hasn't been getting any rest. Mata had a brilliant MOTM performance, as Dani continued to prove he belongs in the starting 11. I'm also glad JT got that suspension out of his way before December. If I had to find a down side it would be that we wasted many chances that were more than enough to double the score line. All in all it was a glorious blue day. I'm so proud of the team for producing such a reaction to series of bad luck the club was going through. KTBFFH
  18. We are still wasting so much chances, we should've had at least another three goals in the second half.
  19. Sorry guys I can't donate . Pay pal is not available in where I am! But well done every one
  20. The crowd has been just great today. KTBFFH
  21. I think we payed yet again for not being clinical and not killing the game off when we have the chance. Though the penalty was an awful call we can't really place the blame there, with our finishing that night I think we would've missed it anyway (penalty vs Genk springs to mind). What really worries me is that we seemed to settle for the draw at the end. By the way you forgot to mention malouda's one-on-one with the keeper at 1-0, which again comes to show the problem with our finishing. Let's just hope Genk get something against Leverkusen, and keep the faith guys.
