  1. And I am disagreeing. Like I said, I don't think he has anything to offer to Chelsea. If he was still here, everyone will be moaning that we should have sold him and given Josh or Piazon a chance.
  2. This awful season has been tough on all Chelsea fans, and it is only normal to try and pin our failures on (the absence) of a single player, be it Modric or Yossi; but reality could not be any more different. This over-simplification of our problems is a step backwards from solving them. Our issues are too complicated to even be solved by a world-class player or two, let alone a 32-yearold average-at-best player. Imo, he has nothing to offer to Chelsea nor has he ever had. I would personally much preffer Josh or Piazon over him. I'm not saying that we should not have loaned him to Arsenal, but we should have sold him for a couple of millions.
  3. Where's the dislike button when you need one
  4. I'd rather we focus on this game than the Barca one. We will be needing something close to a miracle with or without fatigue players.
  5. Welcome Raffaele . We just love Italian fans on this forum so you'll fit right in Enjoy your time.
  6. Scholes could never do what Frank does (or used to do), and Lamps never could do what Scholes is best at. I see no reason for the comparison in the first place. Who is more valuable to a team? I'd personally say Scholes, but that is only because I like seeing defensive and tactically diciplined teams more than open all-out-attacking ones.
  7. You're probably right about the personality, I just always thought that he was of the "smarter" type of players, especially tactically as his sublime movement off the ball always proved.
  8. I guess they knew it won't get prolonged to four matches, but were hoping that the appeal will delay the ban till after the Tottenham match.
  9. That's great for Nicolas. He always seemed the manager type. It'll be interesting to see if he tries to sign Didier. Wish him the best of luck.
  10. You think you know Chelsea and Tottenham history? Here's a quiz to test it: http://www.westlondonsport.com/features-comment/fun/the-chelsea-v-tottenham-quiz/ I only got 5/10
  11. I just don't get why he would appeal. It's most certainly going to be rejected.
  12. Yep he couldn't have done anything about any of CR's goals. He should've done better with the last, but it's not a huge mistake.
  13. Never really cared much about kits, but I have to say that this looks amazing. Easily the best kit we've had. Bravo Adidas
  14. Are you related in anyway to SAF? You sound just like him! You know what's disgusting? The way no one seems to be able to have a conversation without insults being thrown around. I'd answer the points you made but Steve and SempreJuve did a great job at that.
  15. Another one, from a pen this time. Almost saved it.
  16. I'll never understand what's so wrong with that. Not everyone is lucky enough to live next to Stamford Bridge, or England for that matter.
  17. ^^ Pretty much as it is written. But try it with a bad french accent!
  18. Poor Curtois. Nothing he could do about either goals.
  19. ^^ Yup, nothing he could about that FK. I hope he doesn't concede anymore today. EDIT: I jinxed him But what a goal by Ronaldo, unbelievable shot; goal of the season candidate.
  20. Lol how do you make out that you should've won 2-0? Anything could've happened with about an hour left to play. You also left out that Juve also had a goal unrightly disallowed for offside. Overall, I think we can agree that the refereeing in Italy has been abysmal this season.
  21. Oooh, this ought to keep things interesting!
  22. All in all it was an entertainnig match as most most matches in the Bundes Liga tend to be.
