I really hope AVB starts Torres, rotation is what got us out of the CL last year and cast us many EPL games which could've gotten us closer to the tittle than manu. I'm also hoping for a Lukaku debut!

The english squad is a special case of bad coaching coupled with 'too-much-superstars' syndrome. If the english players show as much commitment with the national side as their teams, england would always be among the best in the world.

He'll stay at Bayern....german players very rarely leave germany, that's why they always have a good national team.

Take nothing away from Hazard, he has skill and very accurate finishing, I just don't think he'll be the next best player in the world.....still want us to sign him though.

I would much rather we sign a world-class player and Manu don't. Their squad is already looking the strongest. And for the record I'd take sneijder over modric any day. He has great experience playing with big teams, have won the CL and almost single-handedly took Netherlands to World Cup finals.

Liverpool have several players in that position (Gerard, Adams..) so they will be looking to sell, I just don't think that chelsea are interested....and rightly so too since we don't need him.

Hazard looks impressive, but let's not forget that that's the French league we are talking about...everyone there appears more impressive than they actually are.

All salaries and transfer wages nowadays are absolutely absurd, may I remind you that we signed bosingwa for 18m (if I remember correctly). If you're saying that he lacks consistency then I agree. But we are getting desperate, so I guess our strategy is sign Nasri and pray he stays more consistent at chelsea.

I agree, and I'd like to add that it's particularly harder for chelsea, the price of every player that we try to sign just rockets sky-high when chelsea say they're interested in him. Everybody wants Abramovichs cash!

If he had real quality he'd probably have stayed in Italy or at least Portugal instead of going to turkey!

He is absolutely brilliant on his day, with a bit more consistency he'll be a perfect winger for us....we'll never sign him!
