  1. Reminded me of Inzaghi yesterday, and not in a good way Don't think I've seen one man offside this many times in one match since the Italian was still playing 90 mins
  2. Let it go mate, Lamprad is one player you don't have to defend. He'll soon silence all his doubters with his performances on the pitch. I do find it funny, however, that the general thoughts about the double pivot changed from the ideal position for Lamps because he can't play box-to-box anymore, to the source of all evil in the world I personally am yet to be convinced that the double pivot is the best way to play every match, but the it seems that some people are only capable of expressing opinions that are in the extremes.
  3. Dan Levene (@Blues Chronicle) wrote a piece today that we are close to loaning him to Lyon, I hope this is true.
  4. I hope you're right mate, but I know from personal experience that playing with a twisted ankle makes much much worse. I hope he makes against QPR, his name on the teams sheet is almost a guaranteed goal from a corner.
  5. @Naked Mole Rat, Take my advice and don't see cap's sig, it's extremely annoying!
  6. KSA. Torres subbed off, nothing more to watch. I'm off to bed, good night.
  7. Agree about Josh, unfortunately. However, I think if he can show the patience that Ryan showed (and get a little lucky) he does have a chance of making it, he certainly has the quality in him. As for Chalobah, I think this loan deal will tell us a lot about him. If a 17 year old can take a starting spot in a championship side then with some improvement and experience he can make it at a top club, imo.
  8. FFS, he got injured 3 mins before the end of the match Well, it wouldn't be international break if no one in our team picked up an injury
  9. Call me a pessimist, but I find that extremely unlikely. From those 24 players, I honestly think only Coutois, Lukaku, Josh, De Bruyne and Chalobah have a real chance of making it here.
  10. I hope I didn't miss anyone. Anyway, with the sheer number of loaned players we have, I can't help but think that the only real solution is what AVB suggested last year of having a Chelsea B team competing the championship.

  12. Torres as Captain? Cassillas isn't playing?
  13. Come on Frank, go for the Hat-trick Has he ever scored a hat-trick for England?
  14. No, no. I was commenting on his abilities. It's sad to see him not playing well after managing to constantly perform at a very high level (at least with the national team) for so much time.
  15. Even worse he's the captain What a player Goetze is! And to think some people have the nerve to say Neymar is better
  16. Fantastic. I hope this means we won't see Ramires at RW vs QPHaha
  17. Same here mate. Actually here in the middle east, up until a couple of years back, absolutely everyone was a united fan and they're mostly arrogant cunts.
  18. Despite being just an extension, surely it must happen with consent of both sides, which means that the board believes is 18m is enough. I think this is because our 'secondary' sponsors, like Gazprom, Delta Airlines..etc probably pay a lot too.
  19. @capriccioso,I was rooting for the Aussies It's the first time in history Lebanon makes it to the second round of the qualifications, imagine how bad we would get smashed if we do make it to the world cup EDIT: Never mind, just found out it was a friendly.
  20. Thought you were talking about me </3
  21. All hail king Alex: Alessandro Del Piero rejected Liverpool due to the Heysel tragedy & respect for the Juventus fans who lost their lives[via @FootballFact101]
  22. This is by no means an "easy three points game". QPR actually have the players to be a comfortable mid-team or even challenge for Europa with the right manager. Their problem is that they often under-perform and are very inconsistent. They are very dangerous because one match they look like a championship side loosing 5-0 to Swansea, the next they look like beating the champions! I think our best bet is to keep possession and frustrate them if it means we play more 'safe' passes than risky ones. If we can force them to abandon their game plan we will be cruising a victory.
  23. Good luck Tomo, that sounds very interesting and extremely enlightening! Hope you do get the place mate.
