Starting against Ancelotti's PSG. Dijon are currently in the relegation zone, but it is very close at the bottom in Ligue 1; A win would see them go up to 13th.
I definitely understand where you're coming from, but the way I see it is that we got the three points and Mata was rested for 35mins. I really don't like to critisize the manager when he gets the result the team wanted.
It wasn't just Ramos' handball, but every 50-50 decision seemed to be goir Madrid's way. It is becoming a common theme in of Madrid's and Barcelona's matches.
No I meant crap compared to what? As in, which games do you consider not crap? I think you'll agree with me the mourinho era was the most successful in the club's history (i.e. not crap). Well today was a typical display from the mourinho era. We defended extremely well (stoke did not manage a single shot on goal) had tons of possession and got a 1-0 victory.
Post match:
For the record, I thought he did very well with his subs today, especially the first. And his plan plan of resting our key players for Napoli worked, because we got the three points and a clean sheet. Really don't get what everyone is moaning about.
Don't believe everything this pessimistic bunch say. We had 72% possession, completely dominated them for 90 mins (even when they had 11 men),got 23 shots, hit the bar twice and the post once, and managed to stop them from creating a single decent chance (didn't manage a single shot on target); all this while resting our key players. Just to put things in perspective.
Great performance today, his passing was sublime. He was, imo, our best player till he came off. Though, it did help, I think, that Stoke did not attack us at all, so his defending was not put to test.
