I guess a positive thing, if there can be any here, is that 6 months would be around the start of next season, so he's not likely to be rushed back.

Sorry Jay, but how much you want a player to be sold does not correlate in any way to the reality of how close he is to actually leaving.

How? That logic does not apply to Mikel who only just got back into the side, it doesn't apply to Matic who has been dropped many times this season, it doesn't apply to Cahill, it doesn't apply to Hazard who is a lot more likely to want to leave, it doesn't apply to Costa who is rumored to want to go back to Atletico, it doesn't apply to Remy who isn't getting any minutes, nor Falcao, nor Baba....etc. Oscar falls in the 'Goldilocks' region of being a regular starter here while at the same time not attracting any major interest from clubs who can actually afford him.

Only in the minds of fans. There has not been any indication whatsoever from the manager or anyone at the club that they think Oscar is not good enough. We haven't even tried to sign anyone who can replace him since he's come here. That may change, maybe as soon as next season, but unless he decides he wants to leave, he's not getting sold in the summer.

Made a couple of unreal saves, particularly the one he tipped over the bar from Martial(?) in the first half. Unlucky for him he was overshadowed by De Gea who always has his one World Class performance of the season against us.

Oscar is not a member of that 'some'. He's probably with Thibaut, Azpi, Willian and Iva as the most unlikely to be sold anytime soon.

'Safe' result for both teams, though even had we lost I would have been much more upset by Zouma's injury than the result. Not a great performance from either team and probably a fair result. I do however like that not for the first time, the lads showed great 'grinta' and determination to get the equalizer. Willian was probably our best player. Hazard was poor when he came on. And I thought both JT and Mikel put in excellent shifts and worked their socks off. Undefeated run continues and a late equalizer so the morale of the team should be lifted.

Nah, that was just tongue in cheek. But I do believe that a lot of our players last season were punching well above their weight and I think that was largely down to Jose himself. In our case last season and the case of Leicester this season, motivation and will power can be huge factors in football and sports in general.

Dunno. This Leicester side is probably better than the Chelsea team he led to the title last season...
