We Chelsea fans are such extremists. We either defend Torres beyond reason or bash him beyond reason. My take on Torres has not changed for over a year: I think it best if he leaves, and I rarely want him to start, but when he's on the field I still cheer him on and hope he performs well.

His movement was good for a false 9, but for a player to play false (personally I never liked this idea and hope we don't use it again) he has to have better finishing. Not saying in any way that it's his that the tactics didn't work, of course.

The rumors that Robbie may be gone are getting serious. Really CFC? REALLY?! Two bad weeks is all it takes to sack the Chelsea legend who won us the "holy grail" in the most difficult time for the club in years? Fickle. Very very fickle. And the rumored replacements are Benitez and...Garnt?! Really CFC? Grant?! REALLY?! Are we trying to win trophies or get ourselves relegated? Shevchenko is at the Juventus stadium watching. Last time he was at a match of ours was when we won 4-1 win against Napoli. I suddenly feel much better about the match.

He does look like he will play on the wing and it is a bit confusing. Why not just play Moses who always tracks back and is an excellent defender yet provides something in the attack. Anyway I trust RDM has seen something we missed.

We can play more than 11 players in a season.. You can't field three attacking midfielders without a proper DM unless you are desperate. It is suicide. Mikel should only be rotated with Romeu imo.

That is an overstatement to say the least. Just check our last match thread to see the criticism that Garry has received. I think he has been average this season; had a couple of great performances like Tottenham and a couple bad performances like Manu and WBA. He's also popped up with some important goals and an assist. It's a bit harsh saying that people defend Cahill beyond reason especially after defending Luiz when he has had some inexcusable performances the past month.

We can do a straight swap, Torres for Matri right now. That's how much we've had it with Torres.
