I'll be the first to call out Luiz's mistakes but like almost every opinion by Chelsea fans, the bashing has been OTT (just like the praising was OTT when we first bought him) Anyway if Rafa is going to implement zonal marking that he will leave Luiz on the bench. Zonal marking takes 110% concentration and discipline for 90 mins and almost telepathic relation with other players.

Bertrand as well reopened his account. Cech, Torres and Sturridge have accounts but never post anything.

Since he arrived here he literally had 2 starts(one under AVB against Wigan and this season against manu in the cup) as a CF and he scored in both in addition the few minutes at the end of a couple of games this season. We know that he can finish because he was our top scorer last season and we know his movement is excellent. We need to see him much much more at CF in order to judge if he is good enough to be our main striker.

Agree with the second part, not with the first. You are taking so much variables out of the equation. It's not a simple cause-effect relation between the managers and winning trophies. I'd attribute the success more to the fact that we spent more than anybody else rather than we sacked managers more than anybody else.

I'd take Sturridge over Walcott any day but for some mysterious reason the club is pushing Danny out.. I can actually see Hutch getting the Ferreira role because I honestly don't see him competing regularly with his injury; he'll get like 5 games a season and continue the coaching position he took when he retired. As for for Josh, it would be completely criminal to not loan him out next season especially consider how well he is doing now.

But the problem is who? Can't see Everton selling Baines. Only possible homegrown signing I can think of atm is Walcott and I really don't want him here.

So if we let Lamps, Cole and Danny go we can only acquire 2 players that are not homegrown? But we really don't need to let Cole and Danny go...just another case of our board creating needless headaches for everyone.
