The Benitez appointment changed the complexities of this one. We need to get a result for the fans to start getting behind Benitez a bit..
-
He was. But he is our manager now. You can't support the club without supporting him.

It'll be back up once the 'havoc' settles down.

Out of all the managers in the world... Alright, as hard as it may be, it's time to get behind the new boss. The team comes first. Good luck Rafa

Artur Great to see you again. And absolutely spot on my friend.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the fat Spanish waiter, but when you weight it up, he does seem more likely to succeed here. For starters, his PL experience is a huge bonus over Pep. Rafa knows English football and he knows how to play in the PL.Moreover, if appointed, this will be Pep's first challenge outside Barcelona; there is no guarantee that he replicate his success here. Also, Benitez's style of play does seem much more attainable than Pep's.

Alright now that we are done with cursing the board, let's try and change the discussion a bit: Am I the only one who thinks that Pep is a much bigger risk than Rafa?
-
Can't just skip this one please?

Confirmed that we want him back on an emergency loan: http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/11/21/3675130/fifa-chelsea-fc-didier-drogba-loan

Roman has already fired Zola once in 2003. He, and Le Sauz, were promised contract extensions if we made it to the CL, but when Roman came he refused to give them extensions.
-
Lol I just realized that we sacked the man who is probably going to win the manager of the year award
-
Only two managers who can make me feel better about this are Klopp and Low. Not that there's any chance of us getting them
-
Added a pool. Who do you think will be the replacement?
-
Not denying that Roman helped the club in getting success but he has completely dehumanized the club and turned into a business that only sees fans as consumers. And let's not forget that we were doing very well before Roman and were in the CL. Anyway this is not the time nor place to discuss this. As for Palermo, when was the last time a world class manager went to Palermo? Who's up for trending #RomanOut on twitter as a sign of discontent?
-
Roman OUT! What decent manager who respects himself would come near Chelsea? We have made idiots out of ourselves.
-
This is as worrying as the sacking itself imo. This has Benitez or Grant written all over it
-
There will always be One Di Matteo. Thank you for every thing and good luck where ever you may go. Chelsea Legend.
-
I think this is the first time in my life that I felt embarrassed to be a Chelsea fan. This is a fucking joke. Roman OUT!

Chelsea FC @chelseafc Chelsea Football Club has parted company this morning with manager Roberto Di Matteo. More to follow... #CFC Fuck's sake CFC! EDIT: Full statement: Chelsea Football Club has parted company this morning with Manager Roberto Di Matteo. The team's recent performances and results have not been good enough and the owner and the Board felt that a change was necessary now to keep the club moving in the right direction as we head into a vitally important part of the season. The club faces a difficult task ahead in qualifying for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League as well as maintaining a strong challenge for the top of the Premier League while competing in three other cup competitions. Our aim is to remain as competitive as possible and challenge strongly on all fronts. The owner and the Board would like to thank Roberto for all he has done for the club since taking over in March. Roberto helped guide us to an historic Champions League victory and a seventh FA Cup. We will never forget the huge contribution he has made to this club's history and he will always be welcome at Stamford Bridge. The club will be making an announcement shortly regarding a new first team manager. http://www.chelseafc...berto-di-matteo

I get it, but there is no point whining and cursing every time he's on the pitch and slating him before the match even starts. He's, for now, a Chelsea player and we have to get on with it when he plays.

Steve Clark led us the UCL final. Grant is the guy who managed in the PL for what is collectively less than 2 season, and yet somehow managed to get two side, who were tipped for survival, relegated. I think this was always going to happen when we hired RDM. I remember someone arguing this in the summer and they were spot on. Roman was 'forced' into giving Robbie the two year deal by the fans and the media. And because he did not have complete confidence in Roberto, he was always likely to sack him at the first bump in the road.
