  1. Norwich would do us a huge favor if they hang on. but scum will get a goal in the last 10 mins no doubt.
  2. Still, he is now resting instead of playing. Don't think the reason for not playing will affect his performance against us..
  3. Well here is why I thought we played well: - We completely dominated them in terms of possession - We moved the ball well which is evident by the fact that we managed to create something with most attacks (put the ball in the box, create dangerous movement around it, take shots...etc) - We had 20 shots in total. 12 corners. - We were unlucky with our finishing, with the saves made by Myhill, and with pen decisions. - We allowed them few chances ( granted they were clinical and scored two of them ) In short, we created more than enough chances to win it. Why did you think we did not play well?
  4. Tbf we are still performing well. We were outplayed in the CL by Juve and Shakhtar, but in the PL we have been the better side in every one of our matches ( Swansea probably deserved the draw ). Just need a bit of the mancs luck at the moment.
  5. Juve are resting Pirlo, Vucinic and Leichsteiner (Damn that's hard to spell! ) tonight.
  6. Alright enough with the overreactions. I swear this forum is filled with drama queens We played very well, dominated and should have won. We created enough chances to win it which is impressive as we played with 10 men for 65 mins, but we wasted most of them and Myhill made some fantastic saves. WBA were very very lucky. They were as clinical as possible, lucky not to concede on numerous occasions and the timing for their goals were perfect for them not to mention a couple of pen calls that went their way. Really a one off match that's not worth dwelling uppon..
  7. Referee making some absurd decisions all against Juve. Wonder how many people will say Inter are paying the refs
  8. This. Don't get the overreaction. He did great to even make the space to take the shot. Myhill did everything right.
  9. Shitty very lucky to be in the lead, the goal should not have stood. On a lighter note, QPR are loosing at home to Southampton.
  10. I could be wrong but I'm almost sure that we can add one player to the CL list that has played with a different team in Europe this season. So not playing is probably just to keep him fresh.
  11. Missed the first half, looks like a missed quite a lot!
  12. That's great...for Juve Inter fans are praying for this to not happen. Rossi has been injured for what seems like forever and won't be available until at least march.
  13. I swear transfer rumors from the Daily Fail should not be allowed.
  14. I remember this same flirting when AVB first arrived, hek I even remember Falcao saying that he is ready to play for Chelsea. Then we ended up being stuck with this guy. I wouldn't keep my hopes up if I were you mate.
  15. @Belgiannutt, It seems we are saying the same thing but in different wording, except the part about about Pep. So we are in agreement about most of what you wrote above. Regarding RDM, I too think that the team is lacking what you and the opening post mentioned. There are some serious concerns, especially for our attacking system, or rather lack of it. But I believe that, given time, RDM will get it right. But let's not forget that we are already exceeding expectations this season. Very few put us down as title contenders this season, me included, That is because we knew that this was always going to be a transition period. So yes, our system is not working 100%, not even 60% I'd say, but we have to put things in perspective: 6 months ago this team finished 6th in the toughest league in the world with a 25 point gap. The transition needs time. The players need time to gel, to adapt to a whole new system and to build chemistry with each other. Even if you bring Pep or any other manager in the world, we have to be patient in order for everything to work properly. RDM witnessed first hand last season what a rushed transition will lead to, and he is keen not to repeat his predecessor's mistakes. But of course, ultimately we are both speculating. My bet is that RDM will get it right in time while your's is that Pep will do a better job. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
  16. 1) Luck plays a part in every football match. I'm not saying that we didn't get lucky at times, but so did they with the dive that the ref gave them as a pen, Cahill getting injured in the first 20 mins, Terry getting himself stupidly sent off...etc. Saying that we would lose that match 9 times out of 10 is an over-exaggeration. 2) I agree that what RDM achieved last season happened during special circumstances and it does not prove that he is a world-class manager or that he is capable of leading the current transition of the club. But the same could be said about Pep's Barcelona. The situation at the club is completely different from when Pep took over Barca. And despite us wanting to play more like Barca ( ) this is the same team it was last season with the addition of Oscar and Hazard. Two players cannot completely change the football we play, it takes time. You cannot judge if Robbie can implement the new style of play yet and I think he has earned a chance to prove that he can. 3) I said this before, but both Robbie and Pep are a huge gamble. We decided to gamble on RDM and we need to stick to it and give him time.
  17. A good finisher is a good finisher, doesn't matter if he plays reserve. Whether he can be a good finisher in the PL, we will need to give him a chance to find out. As for being homegrown, by that logic, JT should have played championship football in his mid 20s as well.. No I don't. Mainly because whenever I watched him with the reserves he was average and didn't manage to score.
  18. We are playing 2 matches per week. Three weeks include WestBrom, Juve, City, Fullham, Westham and Nordsjeland. He'll probably be back for Sunderland or the WC.
  19. It's not the contract mate, it's the PL rules, regardless if there is a clause in his contract or not.
  20. Actually you are both right. The loan is naturally a contract, and like any contract, it can be broken for a penalty fee. But it can also have a clause that we can recall the player after some time without paying that fee.
