True, but back then we had a set of players with great experience in the PL; players like Drogba, Anelka, Lampard...etc Players who knew how to win the the PL. Can't expect the same out of the youngsters we have to pull something similar.

Chalobah's physical attributes are perfect for English football. I'm surprised Zola doesn't use him as a threat in corners, he used to always score from corners for the youth and reserves.

You don't know that. We were not linked with Juan before AVB came. Same with Oriol; in fact, AVB wanted Oriol at Porto before he moved here. I'm glad you're amused. How he escaped a YC is beyond belief!

Cahil has the abilities of a world class center back in terms of his pace, heading, physical strengths..etc His problem for me is his tactical side like positioning, when to step up, when to get close and when to show the attacker down the flank. When there is only the obvious option available Cahil does it perfectly, but when there is a tactical decision to be made Garry can be vulnerable to mistakes.

Tbh, I would rather Kevin goes to a mid-table PL side if he it is decided that he should go on loan next season. We want to prepare him for PL style of play.

I think a talent like Hazard would want a guarantee to be a starter. Don't think he can have that at Madrid.
