The ball hit Bunn's right arm, it was rightly red because Fletcher would have had a clear goal scoring opportunity. As for the pen, having seen it again at HT, you are right, Fletcher was offside and there should not have been a pen.

Even if he meant it, a life time ban is way too harsh. There should not be any political gestures on a football field, but I don't imagine he'd get a lifetime ban had he made a different political gesture.
