  1. "People who know their football" LMAO You mean people who said that he'd be with Englnad's senior WC squad next year or that it is unimaginable that Nathanial will not be playing in the PL this season? Get off your high-horse..
  2. There were more people in that thread blaming him than there were defending him. That is a sample of our fans. And yes, those people are as much Chelsea fans as you are.
  3. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/5751-29-nathaniel-chalobah/page-39 Go ahead, read the few pages during and after the final game.
  4. Please. Our fans made Nathanial the scapegoat for Watford not winning promotion last season. Imagine what would happen if he played badly for Chelsea! There is a reason why Frank said that to the fans you're always as good as your last game.
  5. You can go to the beach without swimming. I actually like going to the beach both alone to relax (I love reading on the beach) or with friends to have some fun and get drunk.
  6. I'm convinced that Juve won't sell unless they have to, meaning if the player wants to leave. I'm not disagreeing with any of what you're saying, but I feel that might happen in 2-3 years, not now. He's just became a nailed on starter for Juve, his experience there is not done just yet. While I agree with the idea, it does not apply to Pogba. Paul is better than the vast majority of the players who are already in their peak. His technical ability is flawless, his physical attributes, especially his work-rate, are phenomenal, and his tactical awareness is way ahead of his age and he's even been Juve's "big game player" on several occasions. He's already an experienced player who has played big matches in the CL league and cup with his club and important qualifier matches with his NT. Pogba is a truly remarkable player.
  7. PL schedule has been particularly messed up this season, and not just for us. TV channels trying to fit every single match to be shown live. We've had every single one of our PL matches live so far this season which would explain why our games have either been early or late kick offs when there is no other live game happening.
  8. Well it's easier to learn how to swim, or almost any other skill, while you're still young.
  9. Speaking of pundits, what does everyone think of Wilkins? He certainly has his moments, but I've been a bit disappointed by him. And, No, this has nothing to do with what he has been misquoted saying about Rooney and our youth players recently, but I just feel that at times he's trying too hard to fit into the general consensus rather than say his own opinion.
  10. I love how the vast majority of our managers, even though they all inevitably get sacked in the end, still genuinely like and support the club. Just today I was reading in the mail 'Arry complaining how Ruud Guillet went all crazy when we won the CL. Hearing Carlo saying: "I'm still a Chelsea fan" is so great. Even Butch still supports the club and has a season ticket at the Bridge. Says quite a lot about our board and the whole Chelsea staff as whole. Maybe even a little about the fans
  11. Worst part is that it makes you watch the commercial before it telling you that! Those darn French capitalists!
  12. Juve can match almost anything we offer him unless it's something ridiculous like 200k per week. And the Serie A may not be on the same level as the EPL in terms of importance, but it's not the Ligue 1 either. The Serie A is still one of the most watched leagues in the world with quite a lot of quality. I honestly rate it higher than La Liga where you only have 3 quality teams while in Serie A you have 6-7 teams who can beat any PL team on their day (just like you have 6-7 PL teams who can beat any Serie A team on their day). Of course that is debatable but what isn't is that Serie A is one of the biggest 4 leagues in Europe. Plus, Juve are a bigger team relative to their league than we are relative to ours. Be honest, if you were in his shoes, would you move from Juve right now?
  13. Honestly I never felt the need to learn it. Sure it would be a great skill to learn, but it's not like I can't live my life the same if I don't.
  14. Yeah, I never feel he has a point he's trying to make. He just mumbles half-meaningless phrases.
  15. Yeah but it won't make him think. Why would he leave? He's very happy there. he loves the manager who has put all his trust in him, he plays almost every single game, he has a chance to win everything, and he's become vital to his team that play a system and style of football that suite him. Why in the world would he want to change that?
  16. You're mistaken Loans in the "local loans" period can never exceed 90 days. But he can renew it in January.
  17. That never works...I usually make a "choo choo" sound
  18. Errm, guys: Absolutely NO chance Pogba is going to leave Juve anytime soon. It was just an example Agnelli was using. He could have said the same about Vidal or Asamoah.
  19. They must mean 51 not 15. Honest mistake..
  20. I was about 8 or 9 and my mom enrolled me in a swimming class. I was doing okay the first couple of days, but the instructor decided for some reason to implement a "technique". He felt that I would progress faster if he just threw me in the deep end, literally, because I would have to swim. Obviously I didn't and I refused to attend the class again. I don't think I'm afraid of the water, because I've drowned about half a dozen times in my life trying to swim and I still try
