  1. According to the Metro, we've set out to sign half the players in Europe in the past 3 days!
  2. Good news, but surely we haven't increased his wages? He was already the highest paid youth player in the country IIRC.
  3. Chin up, kid. You're going to be one hell of a player! I sincerely hope he gets the golden boot. He's deserved it, imo.
  4. I'd rather we play Bertrand instead. If Luis deal fails, my alternatives would be Rodriguez, and if that fails, Coentrao. Or else keep Azpi at LB and get a new RB.
  5. When a player is out for a year, he'll need more than a few friendlies and a couple of youth team matches to get back to match fitness. I think Jose will use preseason to judge him then decide whether or not to loan him out.
  6. We don't even know if MVG will be with the squad next season. He hasn't played a competitive game in almost a year. We have no idea how he would perform. He might need a year on loan to get back to form. On the other hand, you've got a proven CM who has won it all in 3 different top leagues. There's no comparison on what each brings to the team.
  7. History? Juve have been consistently a top European team and the best in Italy throughout the years. They just won 3 league titles on the trot. So again, comparing them to Liverpool is not an opinion, it is factually wrong. So yeah, that name is a HUGE incentive. World class players like Del Piero and Buffon played in the second division right after winning the World Cup, all for the love of the Bianconerri! Again, we'll see by September if they go for the insane wages or not. Be ready to admit you were wrong.
  8. I'm not taking it personally, but what you wrote was not an opinion, it was factually wrong. You said that Juve, the best team in Italy now and throughout history with 32 league titles and two CLs and the eternal top European team have the same appeal as Atletico! I dunno. Ask Jose why he thinks that the Serie A is the toughest league in the world. Yes, Juve, Manchester, Real Madrid, Barcelona. Those are the clubs that every player dreams of playing for regardless of the era. Yes, I believe Juve can match the wages offered for Pogba and Vidal, but like I said, let's wait till September and see who's right.
  9. Actual Pogba news? He's already said he isn't going anywhere. Plus, any Pogba news at the moment is going to be about the Germany game. So, If you're coming into the thread in the first place then you're looking for posts full of shit.
  10. And if I'm right I get to ban your ass Now, you'll call me unoriginal again then quickly edit it after you notice this text. You're so predictable.
  11. Couldn't think of a good reply, huh?
  12. Fine, new rule. Whoever is right gets to change Jason's name to whatever he wishes for a whole month.
  13. That is so wrong on so many levels! Juve the same as Athletico? Even if you forget the fact that Juve guarantee trophies and CL football for all the foreseeable future, every player dreams of playing for Juve as the best team in Italian history and one of the best in Europe as well as the one of the most supported teams in the world. So, yeah, a bit different than Atletico. But there's no point discussing it now, you say that Vidal and Pogba will leave, and I say unless Real offer some ridiculous money for Pogba, they will both stay. On September first, if I am wrong, I'll admit, and if You're wrong I'll call you up for it.
  14. I'd rather he goes Arsenal to be honest. No logical reason behind it, just something about seeing the scum upset
  15. No, they really don't. Sanchez is not happening for Juve, he's going to end up at Liverpool or more likely Arsenal. Juve may not be doing great, but they are still the most financially stable team in Italy. That's not saying much in the current economy, but they're not by any means desperate for money, especially that they own their stadium. On any account, I don't think Juve will be making any big signings this summer. Probably just a CB and a wing-back.
  16. Juve don't need to sell. They put that price because they don't want to sell. It's all up to Paul, and he's said he doesn't want to move this summer which is probably the best decision for him. As for Kroos. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling he's just pulling a Rooney.
  17. Funny thing is, none of them is really "gettable" in my opinion. Pogba has already said that he will not leave Juve this summer at any cost. Vidal won't leave Juve, I'll bet you anything. He's a fan favorite and he loves the club, I mean seriously loves the club, he's almost obsessed with it. Kroos is the most likely among the three and even he will most probably stay at Bayern with an improved contract. He may have issues with Pep, but I really doubt Bayern will let him go to a CL rival. Even for Pep he is arguably his most important player.

  19. Tohir won't spend. He wants to sell before buying anyone. Juve's "good finances" are probably close to Southampton's or Sunderland's. It's only good compared to the rest of the Serie A. Term is absolutely right. The Serie A is dying.
  20. Actually it looks like Arsenal are going to hijack the Sanchez deal.
  21. Opta comparison between Petr and Thibaut over the past three seasons (till September 2013).
  22. He hasn't signed yet. We'll move it when he signs. I don't get it, what's the rush?
  23. LOL I had forgotten about that discussion! What's next? The type of underwear he wears? I hear that the G-strings are the most comfortable for goalkeepers. At least that's what @ told me!
  24. ^^ LOL at the above discussion. At least now we can say we've covered every single possible aspect of the Courtois situation!
  25. Not awesome! The level of defending in the PL is miles ahead of that in Ligue 1. I'd rather he goes to Sunderland for us to properly evaluate him in the PL even if Monaco play CL. Would he even be a starter for Monaco?
