Very much like a preseason game, but great to see Baker have such a good game. And I just love how happy JT was with the winner! I think it's different based on the coverage. How many chances will those young players get to play under the full attention of Jose and under his instructions as well. They won't get a better chance to impress him or the Chelsea fans. Plus this is their only chance to play along side players like JT, Iva, Matic...etc. So, if I were one of those youngsters, this would probably mean a lot to me.

For the first team, the result means less than nothing. But it's good for the youngsters' confidence to get a positive result. This is probably one of the most important matches for them this season. I'm guessing the magic mute button..

That's probably true. Which goes a long way to show you the lack of top managers in the league. There's a lot of good manager, just no great managers.

I don't think the team trains the day of the match. Unless you mean yesterday in which case I have no idea. But I don't imagine he did. He'd probably just be shown around the ground and the training complex and met a few people, that's all.

I'm curious who do you think is the best manager in the Serie A? You think Juve will lose the title because we've gone from Conte to Allegri? Conte is better than Allegri, but not by THAT much. The media are trying to make it look like we've replaced Mourinho with Ronald Koeman. Conte was great in assembling the team and enlisting the current 3-5-2 formation, but he had his obvious weaknesses. Those weaknesses were plastered over by the cheer quality in the squad over 38 games in the league, but were obvious in Europe and even in the cup games.
