Tbh, could have seen that from miles away. A couple of people in this very thread called it the moment Swansea took the lead.

Spurs get all 3 points and my nerves are back. Just don't concede, ffs!
-
LOL Of course Spurs win it with two goals in the 90th minute!
-
Hazard, maybe? Worked at the Ettihad. Problem is, Costa with just one leg is still better than Batshuayi on current form. Which has been one of our biggest problem in this second half of the season.
-
I'd take Willian for Costa who's mostly just standing there not doing anything but still somehow looks like he could get sent off at any minute...
-
Because we keep losing possession with awful passes.
-
Much better control in this second half, but we just need a bit more composure with our passing to start dangerous counters.
-
And it seems the answer is Matic on for Zouma with Pedro to RWB.... Yeah, I think that's probably the best of the available solution even though clearly not ideal.
-
I think the issue is that he's playing higher up the pitch because Cesc can't. We're not taking advantage of that fully because we are rarely pressing high, but at the same time we're weak in the center on the counter attack because Cesc is drawn to the ball too easily. Don't think we can take Cesc out either because he's the one to break the City pressing with his passing range. Wouldn't want to be in Antonio's shoes at the moment, tbh...
-
Jeez, David Luiz is having an absolute shocker so far...
-
I hate to say this, but we need Matic in midfield. We're just allowing them to run at us centrally from counterattacks.
-
Hardly the ideal match for Thibaut to make his first major mistake of the season...
-
Side note: I love that Conte is playing Cesc deeper than Kante where he does not need to cover distance fast, unlike how Jose who had him play more advanced in those 'big' matches. We basically concede the midfield when Cesc plays higher up the pitch because he simply can't press there.
-
His technique is shocking for this level, but to be fair he's been excellent defensively so far.
-
Where would we be if Pep liked keepers who could actually make a bloody save?
-
Who else, at this point, would take Willian instead of Costa in the XI and Hazard as the striker? PS: I realize that he will score tonight just to make me look stupid. That's actually why I'm writing this!
-
On a side note, those City kits are fucking horrendous!
-
Swansea 1-0 up against Spurs but by the way the match has been going so far I would not expect them to realistically keep that lead....or get anything from that game, tbh...

I'd be surprised if he's offered a new contract...though, admittedly, pleasantly so.

Interested to know how many here would take a draw here right now? I probably would. Avoiding defeat means that the title is between us and Spuds and I just don't think Spurs have what it takes to push us all the way. If we can put City out of it I would breathe more easily.

Surprised to read some of the comments about the performance. Granted the result was pretty disappointing but the actual performance was no worse than the majority of our performances this season which is pretty good. We lost concentration for about 90 seconds in the entire 90 minutes and unfortunately we conceded 2 very unlucky goals in those 90 seconds. But offensively we were very good and created enough chances to win it despite letting in those 2 goals. We would have easily won had we had Moses available or had a bit more luck or gotten than penalty from Townsend or if we had a striker in a decent form. If we had a Remy or Ba (let alone a Drogba) we would have probably scored 4 or 5. But as some rightly pointed out, the silver lining here is that this will serve as a wake up to not get complacent and that the title race is always open until it becomes mathematically safe.

Great. Our players will look like they've been run over by a lorry before the match...

This was a really nice touch. Also, a great goal:
