Regarding Yannapoulos, of course I have sympathy for him on a personal level for being a victim of sexual assault, but I'm very happy for his downfall as a public figure. Yes, those comments he made about 13yos having relations with old men are being blown out of proportion, imo. But this is a man who has said and done far FAR worse and gotten only fame from it, mostly because he didn't have riots shutting down his talks before. This is a guy who's called feminism "cancer", who's said that women report sexual assault are only doing so to tell people that someone has hit on them, he's said about sexual assault "if someone's touched your tits, get over it!". He's claimed that all muslims hate everyone, and that the signature "delicacy" of muslim migrants are gang-rapes. He's called BLM the same as the KKK. He's publicly outed trans people and put their names and pictures on screens at his rallies and he's even called homosexuality a psychiatric disorder on several occasions. So, yeah. I'm quite glad he's less publicly prominent and that his image, and influence, has been been destroyed this week.

He's right about ONE thing in that it is not pedophilia. Attraction to adolescents is Ephebophilia. But of course you can't make it legal because 13yos can't give consent and there will always be an imbalance of power. Almost all cross generational relations with underage kids are abusive. You can't put all kids, and they are kids, at risk because Milo can give better head because of father Michael....

That's got to be the new Godwin's law. Of course it can't be Hitler anymore because nowadays if you're having a debate online you're likely discussing actual Nazis...

Yeah, it's almost statistically impossible for a woman (or anyone really) to be sexually assaulted by a trans person. It's also almost statistically impossible to die in a terrorist attack, be a victim of a crime by a refugee or to have your economical status affected by immigrants (results of scientific studies into effects of immigration on economy are mixed and almost never significant). They're ALL non-issues. Those are all fear-mongering tactics. They're not supposed to be rational. The purpose of scaring people about minorities who they don't know much about and see as 'different' to them is to firstly distract from actual real issues and threats like the fact that the wealth disparity is increasing and getting to such ridiculous levels that the wealthiest 8 people in the world now own as much as the poorest 3.5 billion people in the world. In extreme cases it is used to drive nationalism through racism/bigotry...etc. Of course Yiannopoulos doesn't actually care about women and children using public bathrooms.

This sentence could mean so many different things depending on how you punctuate it

He goes around universities outing trans people and immigrants and encourages people attending his talks to do the same. He's not as harmless as you think he is. No, I wouldn't 'control' organizations, I'd protest and encourage people to protest and boycott organizations that do give him a platform. I certainly would do everything in my power to stop him from talking at my community/university.

This is the google trend for "Milo Yiannopoulos". Can you guess when he appeared on Bill Maher? Ban? No of course not. I want people who are supposedly on the left not to give such hateful shit a platform. Again, you're conflating the right of speech which should be guaranteed by the state to being given a platform which is done by individuals and organizations.

And Netanyahu was actually standing next to him in the other conference and the genocidal lunatic was actually defending Trump and celebrating the fact that he rose to power on a wave of bigotry and antisemitism But of course the twat of course can allow himself to talk in the name of all Jews even after helping the CIA arm literal Nazis in Ukrain What a bigoted twat Maher is. Even the right wing extremist had to point out that he just called all trans people 'weirdos'! Wanker...

Incidentally @Fulham Broadway, Bill Maher did give that Milo guy a platform as you said he should get, and of course he ended up getting all the spot lights and the attention while he spewed toxic hate against immigrants, trans people and other minorities. You can't seriously debate a guy who is the equivalent of a walking bigoted facebook meme, not that Maher was trying his best to push back. There is no logic in the first place in his arguments to try to counter or take apart, just hyperbole and bigotry. You end up just legitimizing his bigoted ideas when they were not legitimate before. I applaud Jeremy Scahill who refused to be on the show because he did not want to be a part of the normalization of Milo's beliefs.

It's always painful listening to Trump trying to talk, but him trying his best either to condemn or refuse to condemn (I genuinely couldn't tell which) the rise in antisemitism was on a whole different level. Literally his best answer to the fact that antisemitic threats are skyrocketing was "My daughter is Jewish" Meanwhile, the FBI just stopped a right wing extremist with a gun who was going to shoot up a synagogue "in the spirit of Dylan roof". I don't criticize Trump much because everyone else has that more than covered, but it keeps surprising me how genuinely stupid he is. That's irrelevant of politics. The fact that he's a pathological liar aside, he's got one of the lowest IQs among anyone in politics almost anywhere. Something in the system went seriously wrong. Someone like Trump should be the distraction not the winner of the election. It's almost scary and funny in equal measures watching racism and fascism rise on the back of such pure stupidity. You always picture fascism in relation with strong charismatic leaders with great speech giving abilities but Donald Trump sounds like a dyslexic trying to read in his second language a beginner-level translation of Hitler speeches...

That's just sensationalized bs by the media because the story sells. I actually happened to be listening to the interview that the media pounced on and it was very obvious that he was praising us. Anyway, I would definitely prefer to play united in the final or any stage than Tottenham who are quite annoying in cups...

Ake is surprisingly good in the air It's not always about height. Zouma, for example, is at best average in the air despite both his height and his incredible jump because his timing is often just horrendous.

Can sympathize with Diego because he's been surrounded by 4-5 Wolves players at most times. Think Conte made a mistake in not staring either Azpi or David.

Thinks its more likely complacency and over-confidence...

We seem to be lacking motivation as well. Lots of players waiting for the ball to arrive to them instead of making movements.

Because he's class above not just the opposition but everyone on the field. Of course that's not THE problem we have. I've whined about plenty of other stuff as well

Could he do more than not very accurate one-touch passes or is that too much to ask for?

That's a pretty low bar!

Games like these where Eden needs to step up and take players on. It's not enough to wait for the opposition to foul you.
