Anyone thinking that Hazard has been better than Mata needs to have their head checked. Harzard has been woefully inconsistent, often disappearing in many games (especially so far this season). All last season, Mata carried the entire team on his shoulders, absolutely no comparison. I love Hazard and think that he can become one of the best, but there is absolutely no reason for him to be on this list. Heyenckes and Ribery for me.

The thing is, Mikel does not have the consistency to justify a spot on the team, especially with the type of football that we are trying to play. Besides the FA cup match at Old Trafford, can anyone remember when he put in a decent shift in a big match last season? In the FA Cup semi against City, he got caught out of position more times than I can remember; Aguero and Tevez were able to have so much time and space in our final third it was infuriating. That match in Turin then the one against Kazan, do I even need to explain? Then against Southampton he decided it would be a great idea to press ridiculously high up the pitch, leaving our defence horribly exposed. People rave about his reliability and his defensive skills that make up for his lack of attacking ability, but quite honestly, his positioning is poor for a holding midfielder.

Quite honestly, the moderation here is pathetic. People are allowed to get away with idiotic posts and insults and other members constantly do things like spam the Mikel thread 5 times a week reminding everybody how shit he is. This forum needs to take a harder stance on this type of shit and stop trying to rationalize with every single member, because nothing ever gets accomplished as a result. One forum I browse (Team Liquid, it's a forum for Starcraft and Dota 2) bans and suspends tens of people on a daily basis, because they, like this forum, have a massive member base. Therefore, to preserve the post quality, people need to be banned. Oh plus favoritism towards veteran members is something that should be discarded too, because that's also hurting the forum.
