I dont see any other club across the world where Players keep going to the board to complain against the manager. And we have done it twice in two seasons. There have been player coach bust ups before. Beckham and Fergie, is one that comes to my mind. Beckham was out the next season. But in our case, we had to oust our most successfull manager. Tells you how blatant "Player Power" is at our Club. Stam and Fergie is another that comes to my mind. Both have left. Fergie is still te boss and has taken the clubs to new heights. We instead have changed 3 managers in 2 seasons. and looking for 4th for the 3rd season.

There has to be some truth in this. Why would Maka make false claims and back stab friends just to sell his books. The way he described the turn of events with Drogba calling him up and him taking to Rui Faria, I beleive him. I did read about the bust up between Jose and JT in the initial part of 07-08 season. And I am not surprised by what he said. JT complained to Roman against Mourinho. JT and Lampard complained to Roman against Scolari's training menthods. I mean wtf. They are players they need to put their heads down and work and not qustion the manager or complain against him. And looking at the previous posts on this thread, no wonder Makalele said JT is untouchable. He is legend. He can do no wrong. Id say no one is bigger than the club. If the manager wants to bench him he should shut the fuck up and sit on the bench. That said, I dun beleive the other part of the story which says JT asked for transfer request. Its quite blatant to see that whenever a confrontation has been reported between Jose and Jt or Scolari and Ballack and Co. Our team has hit a low. Right after the JT and Jose bust up, we drew at home to blackburn and drew at home to Rosenborg. And Mourinho was sacked. The players need to sort themselves out. It seems that if they arent happy with the manager, they stop performing. Its understood if it happens once, but for that to happen twice in consecutive season is not good for the club. Now, we are going to have a new manager. I hope the players sort their egos. Specially JT and Drogba.

Loved the celebrations. Specially where Guss Hiddink encouraged Ray Wilkins (his assistant) to lift the Cup in spite of being the centre of attraction.. Shows how humble the man is. Absolute Gem of a person. Had it been Jose , he would have hogged the limelight. I still love both. LOVE YOU GUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Bruce Buck Promises Summer Of Big Spending
warnie_666 replied to ChelseaUSA's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Pretty obvious that was. Belleti, Deco, Carvalho, Kalou, Sheva, Pizzaro to go Zirkov, A Striker, A Midfielder, a Goalkeeper to come. -
If we sign him, the Ribery bid will not happen cus I dont think we will buy a talent worth 19 milion and put him on the bench.
-
I think, we backed out from the bid. Couple of days back it was reported that, the Chelsea doctors found that he has a knee/ankle injury that could put him out for 4-6 months. And thats when his agent came up with "Arnautovic would like to join Inter" statement.
-
And Bayern, say We wont get a Leg of Ribery's for 43million. Id say to him, Shove Ribery up your arse. If we sign, Zirkov, I dont see us signing Ribery. Thats pretty clear.

He is fast and dribbles alot. He plays as a Left Winger, Wing Back or Left Back. He and Malouda will be competing for the Left Wing. Also, if and when Ashely cole is injured or rested we can have him play they Left Back role and Malouda in the attacking role. He was a standout player in EURO 08.

Ronaldo: Barcelona didn't deserve to beat Chelsea

what he ultimately means is, chelseawas better than barca who were better than man utd. -
Some papers say Man Utd tried to outbid us by a 63 million bid for Ribery. Thats outrageous. I feel in the end, Ribery would move to Barcelona. They need one there as Henry is getting old. His vvalue should be somewhere around 30-35 million Maximum.

If we had some luck, in the last 6 seasons, we should have won 3 champions leagues, seeing the number of times we made to the semis and the way we lost them. Now, Thats more than Man Utd,....... -
I feel Ribery is a bit overated. I mean, he is very good but he is being considered in the same league as Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo which he certainly is not. That 43 million pound price tag is over the top. Ribery was Class during the 2006 WC but after that he has been decent. He had a forgettable EURO 08 and his performances in Europe have not been smashing although in bundesliga he has been great. But thats bundesliga. So I wonder why he has been tagged 43 million. And he is 26 not even very young. Which means for a 43million player he has no time to adjust in the premier league. Id rather we go with Zirkov.

How Much Should We Spend This Transfer Season
warnie_666 replied to Matterz's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
We got him for free and i think he was signed for two years. I am not too bothered if we have to sell him for free. Kalou should be sold cus, it has been 3 seasons and he still hasnt improved. His finishing needs alot of improvement. The fact that Hiddink took him off after 38 mins vs Liverpool shows how poor he was. Even Anelka playing out of position is better than Kalou on the wing and in a striker's role. Belleti, cus he 33. We need some young blood. We can promote Jack Cork or buy a young midfielder. Belleti is old. -
Ribery would play on the wing in place of Malouda.

He is 26. You buy him for 43 million, If you want to sell him after 3 seasons, he would be 29. Now I dont think anyone would pay us more than 15 million. The fact that we would e selling him after 3 seasons would mean that he would be a 43 million Flop.

43million is a bit crazy for him. He has not even peaked. And why pay such a high sum for someone who hasnt even peaked.

Fuck the titles. You need another 2 decades to get there. Even that wouldnt be enough. Live in the present and go with the flow. -

How Much Should We Spend This Transfer Season
warnie_666 replied to Matterz's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
OUT: Kalou 8 million Deco 4 million Carvalho 7million Belleti 2 million Pizzaro 6 million Sheva 5 million Miniero 1 million Total: 33 million IN: Arnautvic: 12 million if we buy Sturridge then he would be free Zirkov: 15 million Dzagoev: 9 million Assman 5 million Total: 41 million or 29 million depending we buy Sturrdige or Arnautovic. I dont see who else we need. May be spend 8 million in total when you do the math. May be May be If Carlo Ancelloti needs a Pirlo/Carrick type midfielder, we may buy him instead of Dzagoev. -
What Dept is he talking about.? When you have 2 of your top midfielders out for almost 2/3rd of the season.( Deco and Essien). One of your top wingers out for half the season, your left back, back up out for 4 months. You cant just buy players and waste them on the bench assuming you will have a huge injury crisis. The only position where we need a back up is the left wing. Otherwise we have enough resources. May be sell old and buy young players. We have enough strikers in Drogba, Anelka and Di Santo may be sell Kalou and get a Striker/Winger in Arnautovic. The defense is suffice with Bosingwa, JT, Alex, Ivanovic, Mancienne, Ashely Cole. May be sell Carvalho. We shouldnt sell Ferriera. He is good as a back up player for Ashely. Midfield is quite fine, with Lampard, Mikel, Essien, Ballack and may be get one more young midfielder. Sell Deco On Wings we need a back up on the left wing. We have Stoch on the right and we should be buying Zirkov on the left wing. Dept is not an issue here, the age is. Sell Carvalho, Belleti, Deco and Kalou since he hasnt lived up to the expectation. And a Goalkeeper back up in ASSMAN would be good for Cech. So technically we are selling one striker/winger and buying another striker/winger. We are selling one old midfielder and getting one young midfielder. We are selling two defenders and buying one left winger and a goalkeeper. So I dont see what depth Hiddink is talking about. We were just plain unlucky to have our top players out for most part of the season. Thats a squad of 23 players. We can also promote players like Cork, Bertand and Jacob Mellis. Now thats a squad of 26 players. What more do you want...? P.S: I would have loved to see Ballack out as well, but it seems he has been offered a new contract.
-
Ben Sahar's careers with Chelsea is as good as over. I cant see him making the first team. The ones we should look to bring in the first team squad in the next 3-4 years are: Di Santo, Stoch, Kakuta, Cork, Bertand, Mellis, Nouble, Mancienne. Thats 3 defenders, 2 wingers, 1 midfielder and 2 strikers. I hope to see them with the first team squad.

But its Ancelloti who says that Roman said that to him. So it has to be true. Its not the media making assumptions. He wasnt offered the job because Ancelloti told Roman that Galliani wants him to stay with Milan. The reason we lost our identity is because of Roman. He ousted Mourinho, put in someone like Grant and then bring in Scolari.
