  1. Welcome..which part of India are you from....?
  2. There is absolutely no doubt he gave it everything. Its a shame it did not work out for him. But its time to move on. We have taken a step backwards while other clubs have taken steps forward by signing young and energetic players while we still want a 30 yr old player who has passed his peak 3 seasons back.
  3. You cant compare those days to now. After the Club has spend millions, we had set some standards which we have failed to acheive in last two years.. We cant be like Arsenal and say ok...we have a decent season, move on to the next one. I am sure, people who were supporting the club when it got relegated may argue that that was the lowest point. My view is with respect to the current squad. I feel its hit the bottom.
  4. He seems to play on the right wing. We have Joe cole already there and Stoch could be a back up for cole. I doubt he plays in the CM role.
  5. I Just gave a thought to the transfers made by us and compared it the ones made by Manchester united and Liverpool. Look at Liverpool, they have improved vastly ever since we last won the League. They have spent on their transfers, sold players who were old and injury prone. Improved their squad to a great deal. Infact, they are the most widely improved side over the last 3 years compared to Man Utd and Chelsea. Manchester United, have bought alot. Their master stroke was, the signing of Tevez on loan. They spent on Evra, Rafael and Fabio, Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani. Then bought Berbatov. The most important thing is they've spent but they spent wisely and went for young talents who have yet to reach their peaks. Look at the result. Now look at our signings ever since we last won the league. We went for Names. Players who HAD reached their peaks and bought Sheva, Ballack, Belleti and Deco all 3 who had touched 30s. We also bought Anelka but he showed his worth this season. We then wasted money on back ups like Boulahrouz, Ben Haim, Sidwell, Pizzaro. (needless waste of money). And how can we forget Malouda. A Player with so much potential failed to live up to the expectations. Not surprizingly, the only player in last 3 years to has lived up to his transfer value is Anelka this season. Had we progressed like Liverpool have with our squad post 05-06, we would have won two titles and a Champions League by now. One of the reasons for poor squad is the constant changing of the Manager. Which has hindered the transition of the squad and not to mention, the progress of the club. I just hope, we get a manager, who settles well with the club and buys potential talents and not just big names. We almost are using the same squad for last 3 seasons. Time to inject some fesh lively blood in the attack.
  6. Tomorrow, I hope the Fans go, Didier Drogba lalalalala Didier Drogba lalalalalalala
  7. I feel we have hit the bottom. From changing managers every year to carrying an aging squad which has passed its peak. Chelsea has done it all and I cant see us treading the same path from now on. In the last few days, the amount of Shit we have heard about our club from the media is the worst any club has experienced, atleast in my time of watching football. It has been sheer vitriol spouted against us in the media after the injustice we experienced. We have hit a big low and the season isnt over yet, which makes it even more difficult for the players to perform to the standards we set against Barcelona over the two legs. So how can we come back from this? Winning FA cup? Sure, although that would seem like a consolation, but wouldnt heal all the pain the club, the fans and more importantly the players experienced. In June and July, we have two months to dust ourselves off and rise again, to face another season against the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and more importantly the media. If there was any motivation we needed, the events post the semi final clash should be it. The best way to shut the media up is by winning everything in our path next season. I know it is a daunting task, but BArcelona are on the verge of doing it after hitting the low last season. So why cant we do it? We, inspite of all our troubles and managerial changes almost made it to the finals of the Champions League, could finish second in the Premier League and could win the FA Cup. In contrast, clubs like Liverpool consider their season as the best they've had for a long time, inspite of the stability. Imagine what our club can acheive if we maintain a stability at the helm. With a new manager and some fresh faces, we can and we will do it. So, lets all dust ourselves off, pick ourselves and roar into the new season with our heads held high and beat the shit out of the ones who dare to cross us. Carefree, Where ever You may be We are the Famour Chelsea FC KTBFFH!!!!!
  8. I am more excited about Clarke coming back to bridge.
  9. For 30 million...Yes it is. Plus out of those 22, not even half have been scored in the premier league
  10. Wats pissing me off is the English media, launching scathing attack on Chelsea, an English Club. Had it been Barcelona, theSanish media would have gotten behin the club launching a attack on the referee and UEFA. Btw...in the first leg, did anyone see Platini singing the Barcelona anthem?
  11. I read in between that Ballack was ready to take a wage cut to stay at Chelsea. May be he got one along with a yr extension.
  12. The Worst thing is, UEFA hasnt taken any action against The Referee. This very same referee was banned from the EURO 08 after he denied Luca Toni a goal and awarded Romania a penalty in the end. All in the same match. No wonder he was banned, cus injustice was done to Italians. But Chelsea is an english club. They dont even owe us an apology. They dont bann the Ref. Nothing is done other than Gag him. And then we have Idiotic Retards like Collins calling for Chelsea bann from UCL next season. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/otherspor...urope-year.html JT was called a Gentleman by Barca team and Pep. And this Fucktard calls Terry a Disgrace. No wonder they say, with age people lose their mind.
  13. Why is that the ones we love have to leave us. First Jose Mourinho and now Hiddink.
  14. You mean keep him on bench and play him intermittently? on a salary of 125000 pounds per week? Thats insane. I love Ballack, but for the sake of this club's future we need fresh blood in the midfeild. Also, may be its the Ballack jinx thats rubbing off on the club and hence we arent winning the Champions League.
  15. Like Esk said.....The Ref did everything in his power to prevent us from winning. Any other Ref and we would have hogged the media headlines for stopping the "worlds best team" and not allowing a single goal. But we were done in by the Ref not the Barca team.
  16. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle2418435.ece Adding fuel to the Conspiracy theories, UEFA had predicted a 1-1 score. Plus, while the focus is on the bald referee, its quite baffling to believe the linesman didnt see the Pique handball. It was as if they were instructed, not to give Chelsea any penalties. May be UEFA wanted to see us beat them in a game of footbal and not on spotkicks. I rememer an article by Poll, post world cup. Where he mentioned how the referee panel targets players during the WC. In that case he gave the example of Peter Crouch, and according to him the referees were told to not give any penaltys against Crouch and to be harsh on him. I wouldnt be surprised if UEFA told the same to the 4 referees, only in this case it was THE TEAM.
  17. With UEFA, you never know. They might see this as an opportunity for one less cash rich english team in the competition. And the reason they will give us is "Action Against Defamation of UEFA body"
  18. Its now more a case of who wins what first? Chelsea, UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE or Liverpool, PREMIER LEAGUE. So I dont wanna sound like the scousers who say this is our year and then end up losing it.
  19. We all know, Platini's hatred for the Cash Rich English Clubs and to top it all, We are Chelsea run by the billions of a Russian Oligarch. More than enough reasons for Platini and his UEFA to hate us? Add to that last night's abuse at referees on live TV and suggestions of Conspiracy theory against UEFA. They can sue the club for that, but worst. They can screw us again next year and make sure we wont win the competition again. They pitted us against Liverpool for the 4th consecutive time and then made us play Barcelona in semis hoping we would get steamrolled by the best team. On the other hand they gave an easy path to Man Utd thus making sure they get a Man Utd vs Barca final. A final the world wanted to see. And they got it. Conspiracy? Who knows? But its hard to beleive everything they wanted worked out this season. I am just wordering how they would end up screwing us over next season after all the blame game from us and our players
  20. HAHA..Had it been Jose, They prbably would have had an entry fee for the media to enter the press room for his post match comments. He would have joined the Drogba in abusing the ref infront of the TV
  21. Has to be, Sheva, Pizzaro, Beletti, Ferriera, Carvalho, Ballack, Deco, Miniero Probably one of Anelka or Kalou, malouda(although he performed awsomely in last 2 months, you never know how he would turn up again at the start of the new season)
  22. Seeing Barca play us over the two legs, it reminded me of Chelsea during the Scolari era. Initially we were scoring goals for fun, but once we were closed down by defenses, we just kept passing the balls laterally with no shots on goal. Efficient football always wins over eye candy football.
  23. Haha...Imagine buying a jersey with the name ASSMAN!!!Wont be surprised if his name jerseys are the least sold.
