It is NOT stupid. When I say players arent motivated that doesnt mean they stop running and shooting. It means they dont give it their best not because they do not want to but because they cant. How about you explain me why established stars that play European football have failed to perform in Olympics.? I dont have to watch anyone performance. And Mata is not the only player on the field running around with the ball.

Europeans dont take it seriously. But again when you say most of Spain's players played in Euros I am looking at Puyol, Casillas, Pique, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Pedro, etc missing from the Olympics. Point to me which are these "most players from Spain".

What on earth makes you think Korea and Egypt have "arguably" better sides than Mexico. What do you base your argument on? 3. I am not second guessing. Again. No one gives a fuck about soccer in Olympics. It isnt the same as Euros and WC. Specially for star players like Alba, Mata. Ryan Giggs was shit too cus there is not that same excitement as you see in Euros, WC or Leagues. Young prospects like Oscar, for them it is a big stage and they will put in their best show. But already proven stars dont give a fuck about Olympics. hence the no show of Cavani, Hulk, Giggs, Mata, Alba, etc.

Oscar will play the Xavi role in our team albit in a more exciting fashion. Mata will be the Iniesta while Eden Hazard will be the Messi.

1. Seriously? Its an under 23 side. Spains best players are over 23. 2. Egypt rarely makes it to the WC and even if they do fail to go past group stages so does Korea. Mexico are consistently in round of 16 or Quarters. 3. Sorry but its not a Football Tournament and players of a certain class lack motivation. Its Olympic and is the reason why countries dont send their best players and is the reason why it is under 23. You are one of the very few who understands that. But I am sure most of the folks here are gonna talk shit about him when he struggles ignoring the fact that they were jizzing on a 20yr olds performance against under 23 sides of Honduras and other smaller countries. Premier League is a totally different animal. He has the talent to succeed but going by the posts here too much is expected out of him too soon.

Unlike several others jizzing over Oscar after vieweing the Olympics where most are under 23 players, I feel he will struggle in Premier League in the first season. Brazilian players from midfielders to defenders to strikers are ball hoggers. Oscar will learn the harsh way that in premier league you cant keep the ball with you for too long as the game moves fast and tackles are flying. Ramirez and Luiz experienced it the hard way. He is the playmaker in the midfield and he will have tackles flying at him. He is just 20 and he will learn. He will lose the ball as a result and this could harm us.

For all those who think Oscar will play No.10 role, you all are in for a disappointment. He will mainly play the Pirlo Role. He will play in the Pivot and spray passes around the field. In other games he will also play the no.10 role but I am sure he is brought to play the playmakers role from the midfield. In the games I have seen he collects the ball from the defense and works it around and goes up the field and again falls back when they lose possesion.

The fact that he included Drake and LilWayne in his rant makes me wanna punch this guy in the teeth. The fact that he ranted against Nicky Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne is a big hint that this could be a Justin Beiber fan. The fact that he talks about burning down the nursing homes and hospitals tells me that this guy is a threat to the society and if he is so troubled by these rappers he should do himself and the society a favor by putting a bullet in his brain.

Eden Hazard must start in the middle. And that is because he will be the most marked player on the field because of his pace and ability to beat the defenders. This will create space for others around him. If he plays on the wings it is easy to negate his threat as he can be pinned on the wings by the opposition RB and RW. Messi flourished when he was made to play through the middle. It was difficult to mark him and sme goes for Hazard. Mata may not have pace but he has the brains. He will be the other no.10 in absence of Hazard. Infact Hazard and Mata can swap places during the game. Mata has a good cross on him and has good dribbling skills inspite of not being fast.

Good point you made about the 10/11 season. You ignore the fact that like this pre season that pre season we had a lot of players coming back at different times because of the World Cup. It takes time for players to gel specially these players who are playing without Drogba and have new players like Hazard and Marin. We also need to see how we integrate oscar with Marin, mata and Hazard
