  1. He will...you know why? cus he helped Real madrid win the League inspite of Messi having 73 goals and him having 60. And that is exactly why Iniesta won the award inspite of not scoring soo many goals cus he as a midfielder unlike the two above he helped his team win the Euros
  2. I know you smart ass. Doesnt matter....Point is he was one of the reasons with Ramos for Real Madrid's exit and didnt help Portugal win the Euros doesnt matter if he didnt take it.. If you are jizzing over number of goals scored and assits then Messi should win it hands down. But you are clearly blinkered by stats. I doubt you even watch La Liga. Iniesta played a key role in Spain winning the Euros and played a key role in getting Barca to Semi with Messi.
  3. And Messi better than Ronaldo...So? Missing Penalty did cost him and his club. Add to that the fact that he didnt even take that penalty for Portugal in Euros.
  4. It is NOT always about stats. Iniesta played a key role in Spain winning the Euro. He played a key role in Barcelona. If it wasnt for Messi's shit penalty kick Barcelona would have won the Champions League. No wonder Messi didnt get it. If it wasnt for Ronaldo's missed penalty kick, Real Madrid would have been in finals. Messi and Ronaldo cost their respective clubs a place in the finals. No matter how many goals they score against shit teams in spanish league, they cost their team when it mattered the most. Iniesta on the other hand is a magician. He seldom fails. When Chelsea play Barcelona, I always fear Iniesta more than Messi and I am glad he rightly deserved that award
  5. Gerrard suffers from complex when Lampard is in the team. He always underperforms in Lampard's presence but is great when Lampard isnt around. Shows who is the boss!!
  6. Yup, Atl Madrid cannot hold any club to ransom like Porto do. They have to sell. Anything around 40m and he should be ours. But if Torres has 20 goals by then, then I am not sure if we need him.
  7. Do we seriously think UEFA is going to punish big clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, and others over FFP? The amount of revenue UEFA gets from having these teams in the Champions League is unreal. You ban any of these top 8 clubs and the revenue is likely to drop as star players from those respective teams wont be performing and it affects marketing, ads, and tv revenue big time. Its a cycle and UEFA knows they cant break it. Hence they are taking actions against these small clubs.
  8. The phrase "You are only as good as your last game" is so true when it comes to fans. Ivanovic has been a beast of a player for 3 seasons straight. 2 bad games against Reading and Atl. Madrid and we already want him replaced by Cesar? What the fucking hell is wrong with you guys. I agree with the Ramirez bit but Hell no on Ivanovic. He still is our primary RB and Cesar is brought in to push him. He will challenge Ivanovic for that position.
  9. So every game he doesnt score we gonna have haters spouting crap here?...I see....
  10. I am surprised they havent tapped the indian market yet. But i knew it was inevitable
  11. My bad. You are right. But the point is, after Lampard's situation the club took a firm stance on not giving 30+ players long term deals.
  12. 1. In his 9 seasons Rooney scored more than 20 goals in only 4 seasons. So I dont see where you bring that argument that Rooney has been scoring 20+ goals for "many seasons". Lampard has scored 20+ goals on a much consistent basis but that doesnt mean he is a striker. Rooney always had a striker upfront with him in RVN, Berbatov (although Shit), Tevez. Not counting Ronaldo as he isnt exactly no.9. And now they have RVP. Last year he had to play upfront on his own and they didnt have a clinical no.9 to support him like in previous years and that cost them the title. Hence they went in for RVP. And they were in for RVP right from the start. 2. I agree you need competition upfront for Torres but that doesnt mean we break the bank and bring in 50m Falcao to sit on the bench waiting for Torres to fail and that also doesnt mean we bring in a shit like N'Gog. Sturridge is a damn good player and has proved it time and again playing for Bolton and Great Britain. And dont compare Scumpool to Chelsea. Scumpool only had Torres as the goal scorer while Chelsea have Always had scorers all over the pitch. And obviously IF Danny goes then we may think of bringing Falcao. But for now I dont see the need to bring in Falcao with Torres and Studge upfront.
  13. FYI...Rooney is a No.10, RVP is a typycal no. 9. Rooney generally plays as a second striker for Man Utd and England but can also play as a no. 9 Torres and Falcao will give rise to the same situation as we faced with Drogba and Sheva and Drogba and Torres.
  14. I am not saying he will score 30+ but if he does, goign for Falcao wouldnt make sense. I think 20+ goals is realistic
  15. Is said IF HE SCORES. I never said he will. But what IF he does. The Jokes on you then.
  16. That was in 2009 not 2008 and it was a 4 year deal that expires in June 2013. He was all set to quit Chelsea after we won the FA Cup and wanted a long term deal but club wanted to give him a 2 year deal finally the club relented and offered him 4 years. But from 2010 onwards after Lamprd situation the club decided to not give long term contracts for 30+ players. Ballack and Drogba wanted 2 year deals and club offered them one year deal. Both were let go as the club refused to budge Note that Ancelotti had put in a word for Ballack but board didnt bother to give him 2 years.
  17. If Torres scores 30+ this season it would be a stupid move to buy Falcao. Torres has to have his best season in England with us this season.
  18. You dont go to Lodnon dressed like a cowboy.
  19. Mata is a left winger predominantly. He played there all throughout his career with Real Madrid and valencia. Even in one of the Chelsea interviews he introduces himself as Juan Mata Left Winger. Oscar in CM is fine as he is a playmaker and pick out passes.
  20. All players do Charity. You think Ballack doesnt do Charity? You are sayign as if Club salary is the only thing Malouda relies on. He has his sponsorship deals and income from advertisements and other sources. Refusing to take a paycut by few thousands isnt gonna affect his charity.
  21. 1. Just like you cant compare the situation of the two players and you cant compare the stature of the two players. Ballack was desparate cus he wanted to play at the highest level and was ready to take a pay cut to do so. Malouda doesnt give a fuck about playing competitive football as long as he gets paid his high salary. You think Bayer Leverkusen paid Ballack his 130000/week wages? You think a club like that can pay that high a wage? Obviously he compromised on pay to move to a club that played in Champions League. 2. Ballack wasnt SHIT to be shoved into reserves. He played a key role in winning the double. Malouda on the other hand played like a shower of shit last season with 2 assist and 3 goals or whatever. And Ballack wanted to stick around for competitive football. Malouda wants to stick around for Wages. Fucking Greedy Bastard. 3. It isnt a stupid move. It is a bold move full of intent. The club wants to offload under performing players on high wages but this greedy cunt decided that he wont compromise on wages for competitive football. Similar to Bogarde. Hence deserves to rot with the youth.
  22. So What? I am sure negotiations for his contract started a year earlier....I have big respect for Michael. A Player of his stature could have earned millions by moving to MLS but he wanted to take a pay cut n play at Chelsea. Malouda has nothing on Ballack in terms of stature and yet he acts as a greedy cunt.
