True. Hiim along with Oscar, Hazard, and Cesc have alot to prove this coming for various reasons. Hopefully that motivates them to play at another level. But as long as we make him the focal point in our attack, he'll perform. Our strikers have struggled partly because our CAM were the main point in our offense

Hazard at his best squeezes his way into the box and finds his teammate. He doesn't do that consistently enough though. Di Maria would be great here at chelsea on the other wing as he is constantly pushing the ball forward

He knows his talents. He tried and couldn't do it. Hazard has played similar to this in his chelsea career too. He is passive 90% of the time until he gets a chance and goes past a defender. We need to stop overrating Hazard's talents. He's not a Messi/Robben/Neymar type player; Hazard is similar to Iniesta and Gotze

Mata wasn't just let go due to his defensive work rate. Mata showed more effort defensively than Hazard. Jose preferred Oscar as the starter; Mata wasn't happy just being the second option and was let go. Similarly, I think if we had Ozil and Oscar became 2nd choice, he'd probably want out and Chelsea would grant him his wish.

I think if we stop looking at him as a future balon dor winner, we'd be much happier with his performances. He's great, but not on Neymar (for Brazil) level. Maybe he'll be as good as Robben some day but I think we should reduce or expectations of him.
