That is our only chance of not conceding and on the other hand, scoring too!! There are 3 things i can predict/see happening: 1. Drogba bullying a defender in the air and laying up Torres for a goal. 2. Suarez scoring a sublime goal 3. Drogba scores with free kick to win us the game 2-1.....a free kick goal is long overdue for the Drog and.... a penalty not awarded to liverpool in the end,,, which was indeed a penalty by luiz.

I think our players need to utilize this international break and play shitloads of fifa12 simply to realise that they are brilliant players and can play ridiculously good football if they put their game on.... If they play with Chelsea in fifa12 it might help them with their gameplay, emulating what they do in the game, on the pitch. Liverpool will be a season defining game in my opinion.... We lost to Manu QPR and Arsenal already....If we cant win against a liverpool side that has been largely unimpressive...couldnt score against swansea.... then the season will not be very promising..... On the other hand, a win will definitely make them feel they have it in them to win.... I dont see us beating man city... so 1 point out of 6 against them is realistic... Im going off topic here..... Our players are playing like they dont care....or even if they do....they dont care as much as they should.... Ive Calmed Down, but still extremely embarrased. An arsenal fan wrote on my facebook page : "Shhhhhhh" I had to deal with that. The fact is not that we are in a transitional period. Or that we are changing our style of play. We are so vulnerable that every match is extremely scary to watch. You feel like we will implode and let leads go, as other teams are able to play good football against us. The only reason i am disappointed is that our style of play this season allows other teams to play attractive football and put us under pressure. We are the only top team that allows this. Maybe we need to play good attacking football but we should ease that philosophy in. Our defense cannot handle the high line. Also, when malouda made that back pass and terry slipped, i almost felt sorry for malouda. He is a good player, and the way he has been pushed off the starting 11 has been harsh. Lastly, one thing that i do not understand. If someone can please explain this to me. Our defense over the last few years has been extremely successful playing at the back (not high line ). The problem was that we werent scoring enough or playing creative free flowing football. AVB has added creativity flair and quicker play. But why does he need to change a perfectly synchronised working defensive setup? Our RB AND LB's used to still get ahead in previous seasons, but now that we have a high line....when they do get ahead our defensive line can so easily be beaten if we lose the ball in their half....its a joke. Why has AVB tampered with a successful defensive formula? No i dont hate AVB, im not over reacting, and i dont want a 100 million spent to fix the problem. But id love an answer!!

You are right.... However this high line defence is not working. In each and every game we have been vulnerable. Most teams did not have the quality to convert, today was an eye opener. Play safe in defense, no high line stuff.

our team wasnt ready for this game. Their passion hit us like a speeding train and then all hell broke loose. If we were mentally ready for this game then QPR wouldnt have been killing us in the beginning....the crowd would be silenced a bit.... The truth is that we brought this upon us. Chris Foy must have a look at himself.... at times certain referees seem to root for smaller teams i think cuz they feel this is a good chance to take out pent up frustration of pressure always by big teams... This guy is a joke. Drogba was a joke...before and after the red card.... come on man.... people used to and probably still buy shirts with your name on it.... dont insult them by playing like that. We really should lodge a complaint against this referee.... If not .... I want AVB to come out and say " THE REF ROBBED US".... As Humane and Caring as i am, i still hope some chelsea fans go and break his house or car doors or paint some shit on his wall.... make him feel and realise that his performance was so biased and wrong, it almost felt like he was paid.

Totally agree with all of you here, however its QPR so it might be a good game for lukaku to get a goal and confidence. Thats why i wrote his name. i dont think him being a sub every once in a while will really help him....however starting a game like this will be great for him..... if he is not working we can always substitute him after 60 mins with drogs or play both together. Lampard is still not at his best and with meireles mata sturridge ramires and whichever DM you choose competition is huge.... he is improving due to pressure to play faster and better.... The thing with Lampard is that he is a true blue and plays with emotion and passion, so i am secretly rooting for him but the dilemma of younger players like romeu.... he looks gooood but will hardly every get a chance to play if we dont start fast tracking our older players the way scholes etc were for manu... in a graceful manner... Look, the way i see it.... this season is a transition year for us.... if we dont win anything AVB probably will NOT be fired.... but for this transition to take place, we as fans also have to accept that DD and Lampard will slowly have roles that are very different, i.e. not starters always.... It is then that these very promising youngsters will thrive in a team such as ours... My view.
