  1. Wait a minute isn't Gazprom Usmanov's company. So basically we'll be taking some of Arsenal's money too
  2. So the other day Lalkovic said this: Rumors are he is in Portugal and earlier skysports said this: I'm really thinking the board have been working on a deal for Hulk. Oscar can't be the biggest since Hazard was singed also, they're both big but in economic terms Hulk's valuation seem's to fit the bill.
  3. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
  4. Because these deals have no link, Hulk signing isn't reliant on Oscar's deal failing. They're completely different players.
  5. Also I find it difficult to believe that we'll not offer £25 million if we bidded it for Lucas. The owner said this yesterday: "The figure I am looking at is nothing more, nothing less, than the biggest transfer in Brazilian football to date." That figue is $33 million i.e. £25 million. If we've offered £20 million than this is just part and parcel of the negotiating process. In Brasil though everything must be done in public
  6. What the hell is wrong with them, they finalised his transfer in court for around 3.5 million a few months ago. At 16.5 million an instant profit beckons and they want more. Let's hope this is just a ploy, Oscar is way too talented. Another season in Brazil to showcase his abilities would just add to the pounds. Regardless, it is a stupid thing to say. If Abramovich wants his man he will, more often than not, get him. At the moment is seems like a purely economic stumbling block, we have time to negotiate but I hope we do ASAP! The "Right now," in "we are no longer in talks with Chelsea." shows it's not ended by any means (hopefully).
  7. What he said wasn't strictly racist but highly derogatory for sure. Perpetuating such a farcical notion or being "black" or "white" promotes the unconscious racism and such, Ferdinand is just ignorant. As people like Bill Cosby have always argued, the notion of "being black" or "white" is a very dangerous term entailing potentially devastating affects. Signithia Fordham's "School Success: Coping with the "Burden of 'Acting White" is testament to this. The John Amaechi quote eloquently sums it up: "It is the idea that a black person is black only in skin colour but inside they are really white. It's a highly derogatory term. It's a dangerous term because it allows black boys especially but black people in general, to believe that there is a way of being black that is somehow distinct from being white. There are people that think if you don't wear a certain type of clothing or listen to a certain type of music you're not really black. It's a really dangerous thing. There are black boys who do less well in school because they believe by doing well there, they are acting white. To me, this is devastating for black boys and black people everywhere. It's a deeply offensive term with racial connotations."
  8. The Ferdinand brothers are the quintessential definition of drama queens. Ashley Cole has more grounds to be aggrieved (not in a racially abused way though) than Anton, who based his whole suit on what he could only assume to be a racist remark in a piecemeal and twisted way. If Ferdinand wasn't such an attention seeking whore than the incident itself would of never have found itself at court in the first-place. Taxpayers would of saved some money. From the case's inception (which came from a man watching a game) to the case's details, this whole chapter has been a farce. What makes it worse is with QPR (not to mention Rio) still in the league this chapter doesn't look like it will close anytime soon too.
  9. I'm drooling at our the prospect of signing him. He is one of the elite talents. The main reason we've not seen the big boys show interest until now is because of a bizarre situation where he walked out of Sao Paulo for a wage dispute and Internacional took him. A suit began over ownership so an opportunity to sign the boy only just became possible. ( I mean literally just now) The way we can rotate on the field with him and Mata is so exciting. Oscar would take the central attacking position but he does 9/10 times, move to the left side of midfield (for Internacional). Also, mark my words about the apparent fragility issue, from the times I have seen him for Internacional and Brazil he does seem to hold himself up well against the opposition. He won't be shoved aside as easily as Mata. I'll never forget his 3rd goal in the U20 final, some called it luck but most had to agree that it was an outrageous goal. The potential is there and I hope we get this finalised ASAP. The only complication is that he is owned 50% by Internacional and 50% by himself and his agents. So that could perhaps clarify the lack of formal completion on Internacional's side.
  10. BREAKING NEWS: Liverpool confirm Rodriguez departure ahead of Newell's Old Boys move Hahaha another one bites the dust then.
  11. And the Oscar goes to... Chelsea! Let's hope he does sign!
  12. Have you noticed the Brazillians with nicknames of birds are very injury prone. Duck = Pato Ganso = Goose
  13. This guy is very selfish, redundant signing, Sturridge can do everything he can and more. People shouldn't criticise Danny for his selfish tendancies, he's a striker and wanted to show the boss that he deserves his place their. Plus their is the added bonus of him being English thus aiding or meeting those quota systems. Studge had a bad second half of the season but as a whole him and Mata carried us for the first half of the season, I saw him take England to the U21 final, he was the leading scorer and voted player of the season (the only other person to achieve this was Tevez) as City won the Nike Cup in his youth career and proved himself as a natural goalscorer at Bolton scoring some wonderful goals. If you ask any of your friends whether they would take Sturridge, most of them would say yes. At 22 he's got too much talent to replace. Ancelotti called him the quickest player he ever worked with and this guy managed Sheva in his prime! He more than merits his place in our team and we'd be stupid to sell him.
  14. A Mata special for some Spanish magazine
  15. Gonçalo Lopes ‏@_GoncaloLopes 25m euros is the offer from #cfc for Oscar. Just confirming, English media just shit stir and put the sterling their instead of the euros.Like this: http://www.guardian....sfer?CMP=twt_gu Also an article about our 'revolution' and this tipped signing's emphasis on that. http://www.telegraph...Mesut-Ozil.html
  16. Prima facie the case is so weak, everything is hearsay apart from the video itself. With information emerging that the courts are doubting Ferdinand's reliability, I'm adamant Terry will be proven innocent, but you never know with this circus.
