  1. Interviewer: "So do you feel any sympathy for City?" Mourinho: "No."
  2. 1-1 Get in Lets hope Madrid can now get a second.
  3. Hoping he has a stormer today. Making his debut in such a big game will make bison even more committed.
  4. Eden Hazard is the first player in premiership history to be MOTM four times in a row.
  5. I hate QPR, classless bunch of thugs who just look to foul.
  6. Nobody said he's a technical player, his game is very different to that. I'm not championing the idea to buy him (wanted Witsel) but I will say he is a very good player that can only get better. Sure his passing game is unspectacular but he is still statistically above the average. Where Fellaini excels is in retaining the ball and tackling: (these numbers could be a reflection of the top teams having a greater share of possession, so lesser teams players added.) Furthermore, he was number 1 (127) last year in the EPL's tackling department with number 2 being Song (110) and number 3 being Youssuf Mulumbu (108). Can't deny Fellaini would certainly give the likes of Oscar, Mata and Hazard a greater freedom to bomb forward when you have a player that dominates these fields so drastically: He could certainly give our team that defensive balance it needs. You wouldn't buy him to be that technical spark,we know his abilities excel in different departments of the game. Sure his passing is unspectacular, but when he has the ball he rarely loses it. You can't forget this guy is 24 years old and he will only get better with time aswell.
  7. The UEFA Club Financial Control Body's (CFCB) investigatory chamber, chaired by former Belgian Prime Minister Jean-Luc Dehaene, has today announced that 23 clubs involved in 2012/13 UEFA club competitions have seen the payment of their prize money temporarily withheld pending further investigation. As part of the first measure of the financial fair play requirements included in the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations 2012, the clubs participating in 2012/13 UEFA club competitions had to provide information regarding the status of any overdue payables as at 30 June 2012. Following its last meeting in August 2012, the CFCB investigatory chamber has identified that important overdue payables towards other clubs, and/or towards employees or social/tax authorities existed in 23 cases. These cases involve the following 23 clubs: FK Borac Banja Luka (BIH) FK Sarajevo (BIH) FK Željezničar (BIH) PFC CSKA Sofia (BUL) HNK Hajduk Split (CRO) NK Osijek (CRO) Club Atlético de Madrid (ESP) (certainly paves the way for a Falcao deal in January?) Málaga CF (ESP) Maccabi Netanya FC (ISR) FK Shkendija 79 (MKD) Floriana FC (MLT) FK Budućnost Podgorica (MNE) FK Rudar Pjevlja (MNE) Ruch Chorzów (POL) Sporting Clube de Portugal (POR) FC Dinamo Bucureşti (ROU) FC Rapid Bucureşti (ROU) FC Vaslui (ROU) FC Rubin Kazan (RUS) FK Partizan (SRB) FK Vojvodina (SRB) Eskişehirspor (TUR) Fenerbahçe SK (TUR) Consequently, the CFCB investigatory chamber will continue their investigations and request these clubs to provide an updated situation as of 30 September 2012 with regards to overdue payables towards other clubs, employees and social/tax authorities. This conservatory measure will remain into force until all identified balances have been settled in full or until a final decision by the CFCB adjudicatory chamber is taken. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chelsea, as expected, meet the requirements and evade these elusive punishments.
  8. News today is that UEFA punished 23 clubs over breach in FFP regulations with Atletico being one of them (emanating from Falcao deal). Like I said they've opened themselves up for offers in summer before and it seems as though it will certainly (as expected) happen in January.
  9. I agree youtube videos are very deceitful, that's why I merely used a specific example of Fellani showing some skill that I recall from memory and not some highlight show. He is very powerful and can drive well, but isn't as technically inept as one would think for sure.
  10. I'm just saying from my experience. I've been watching Eden since he was a teen at Lille and seen Thorgan play for Lens a few times. Eden was mind blowingly good for his age but hopefully we can help Thorgan develop into a great player.
  11. Fellaini has no technique? https://www.youtube....h?v=bvOZxLEk6Ew
  12. Almost. Peter Pan never ages, Falcao never stops scoring.
  13. We have Frank Lampard captaining England, David Luiz captaining Brasil and Fernando Torres captaining Spain
  14. Baloon D'or is still to come. He lost the UEFA Best Player in Europe award.
  15. Ronaldo's twitter: Like I thought, there's no way he is moving at all. Just typical media stirring.
  16. Yeh Portuguese Clubs are profit making machines: Coentrao €30m Di Maria €36m Luiz €25m Garcia €20m Witsel €40m Ramires €22m Under €30m spent and €173m earned! Porto: Hulk €55m - Brought for: €5.5m Pereira €10m - Brought for: €4.5m Guarin €11m - Brought for: Undisc Falcao €47m - Brought for €3.93m!!! Meireles €13m - Brought for: Undisc Bruno Alves €22m - Brought for: Undisc Cissokho €16m - Brought for: €300,000 Lopes €24m - Brought for: Undisc Lucho Gonzalez €19m - Brought for: Undisc Estimated net profit = €217million!
  17. I wish him luck, but I feel sorry for him personally. - clearly wasn't the deal he was looking for. You can tell he's not nominally ecstatic about his transfer: "I had no reasons to leave, but my agent called me and told that Porto and Zenit have reached a deal. This will be good for me, Porto and Zenit." Porto as a club haven't looked at his interest as a footballer and his agents have more importantly failed him. Money has undoubtedly dictated this move. I know leagues are subjectively preferred, but the UEFA standings do objectively highlight the step down for Witsel (really gutted about Axel) and Hulk. They do have UCL though, and I hope they do well.
