Except he is and he's shown he is with England aswell as Bolton. There's a reason teams offered for him and why we're desperate to sign him up quickly. He's kept clean sheet on a consistent basis with our captain in CB for England and apart from a freak game against Montenegro they've been very solid and effective together.

Agree 100% To get Krasic and Cahill in for Portsmouth would be excellent.

So seeing that we're everyone's favourite club we find ourselves with 6 games in 3 weeks straight. I was hoping we would have Drogba/Torres/Lukaku fit and ready to go when the Christmas/ACOfNations came around. It is disappointing that we haven't been able to do that and Lukaku has only made two Prem appearances since his debut which isn't understanable in the least. With Wigan, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Fulham, Wolverhampton all to play in a space of two weeks we're going to need to rotate and I hope Andre Villas Boas does not expect unfit, short of confident players to come in and be effective.

This lad is such a will be world class player if you know what I mean. His confidence, belief, calmness, motivation are to be admired. Thankfully we didn't loan and develop him only for Barcelona to buy him. Also, you would hope he knows the word loyalty and seeing we've given him the chance to start and show what he's got he should stay a good while.

IN: De Bruyne, Cahill, Barkley(loan him out) OUT: Kalou, Bosingwa, Malouda That'd bring us down to 23 players so that should be enough to get us through the season. Really hope we sign De Bruyne though

Still cant believe we've signed him tbh. This lad is only 23. Hes only turned 23 so he hasnt even reached close to his potential. His performance against Norwich was both enjoyable and exciting.

Id love to know why this is decent business. This will be one of the most stupidest decision in the Roman Era-- buy a player with a lot of potential who has 1 YEAR left on his contract and refused to sign a new one which means Barcelona have no advantage in the negotiations, develop him and play him in the first team only to lose him for a measly 3m profit?
