Can you also tell me how many times Mata/Malouda tracked back when Valencia was double-teaming on Bosingwa. And how many attacks down their left were actually successful?

Right winger definitely Anyone else notice that Mata was ineffective down the right against Valencia? It was only after he and Malouda switched flanks in the second half that things clicked into place for us... So the option of using Mata as a right winger is probably out of the question, which leaves us with.....nobody. The real question is: Does AVB want a right winger? I remember in one of his earlier interviews, he said that he preferred having a 4-3-3 with one natural wide player and one second striker who drifted around....sounds familiar doesn't it?

Yeah its annoying when the abuse goes on and on...at this rate we'll be no better than Le'Arse fans (not that Kalou would do an Adebayor)..it was a stupid mistake but a mistake nonetheless...It just happened to be made by a player in poor form and one obviously held in poor regard...

The team as a whole was rather careless today....exemplified by Kalou's late handball. Very unprofessional... Should have made the most of those chances, but when you take everything in it was a fair result and actually a good one.

I think a lot of people are taking our draw for granted... While its not difficult to see how easily we've won, I say the result could have easily gone the other way. Sloppy from the team and, a spade is a spade, a tad bit sloppy from AVB. Nothing serious, just sloppy...

Also remember,we can't and actually shouldn't win EVERY game in our group... History shows that teams which win every game in the group screw up in the knock out stages. So in essence, a draw is great as long as it keeps us on top of the table...

That was a wrong move by AVB in the end, I feel... I know its important to keep the older players fresh....but removing Lampard to bring in Kalou when we had to defend a lead was mind-boggling.. Was actually expecting Drogba to come in for Malouda/Mata and get some game time before the weekend clash

Valencia have settled down well, but I still think they're defensively a bit frail at the back. I'm surprised we haven't made more of our opportunities so far... Mata seems relatively subdued today (not unusual) and so the rest of the team is looking a bit clueless...Ramires seems to have slowed down a bit after that knock on the leg Glad that we've kept a clean sheet though

That's because he's worried we'll try to use the same open tactics we used against Man Utd, and play into Arsenal's hands... All our recent victories against them were down to us maintaining an iron grip on the match, and playing on the counter. Hopefully our defense will be a lot more solid, (the way it used to be) when we do meet them

Just so you stop mentioning that in every post you make, I'll have you know that I do watch games, and almost all of them for the whole 90 mins + injury time. Now, in our most recent games the play has become more fluid and there is a lot more thinking involved in the build-up play. In the earlier games (I take it you have seen them), especially during the last days of the Carlo's management, there was a lack of imagination in the build-up, and most of the time the play ends with a random cross into the box, especially before we scored the first goal in the match. And whenever the ball moved to the right side, Bosingwa would be the one to whip it in, to usually no avail. Whether there's a better RB out there...I'm not saying that's false, but you're quick to criticize the one we do have and that too for the wrong reasons (In my opinion).. As for insults, there's nothing personal regarding anything I've posted..If you get upset by words thrown around on an internet forum then its your problem...
