  1. Gittens like Bambi each time the ball comes to him. He should be brought on as a sub. Not ready to start games
  2. George. Weird sub again Why not bring on Garnacho. Why is the clubs golden boy being protected after all the relentless hype to bring him in.
  3. Would swap Gittens for Garnacho at half time. At least Garnacho has PL experience. And bring on Gusto/James for Fofana.
  4. Gittens has looked so off the pace. Always half a second slow to react to even his own team mates. Looks like it will be a while before he adjusts to the PL.
  5. Buonanotte's first real involvement in the game
  6. He's been anonymous so far this game. Not sure why he started.
  7. Tosin is very poor in 1 on 1 situations. Always backing off. But hey, the club think they are well equipped in the CB department. 3rd least number of goals conceded last year. Sign of a top team for most people I guess.
  8. Not sure what they see in Badiashile. Always injured and not spectacular when fit.
  9. Wesley Fofana and Sterling. Guess they never expected it to deteriorate like this
  10. Media and rival club fans are scratching their heads thinking about this one, lol: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-15066739/Opta-stats-boffins-surprising-list-10-Premier-League-players-far-season-NO-Liverpool-players-included.html#comments-15066739 "And that, according to Opta, has resulted in no Liverpool player making the cut for the top 10 players in the league so far this term. A Chelsea player is top of the list, with four Blues stars included in total. Players from Nottingham Forest, Tottenham, Manchester United and Everton also make the cut."
  11. Wow. You'd think the player and/or his agent would have confirmed these things ahead of time. Unless the club pulled a fast one on them. Wouldn't surprise me.
  12. He was fantastic when he was fully fit. Still remember when we used to have nigh guaranteed goals from both left wing and right wing with him and James flying down the pitch.
  13. Even if other clubs have had better transfer windows ( and IMO they did), Im hoping Chelsea still quietly upsets the big boys this season and gives Liverpool a bigger run for their money compared to last season. Just like how Joao Pedro is quietly proving to be THE difference maker this season. The amount of press and fawning of opposition fans and pundits over other clubs like Liverpool had become insufferable over the past year. Until the dust settles, I'll keep hoping that we can stick it to the lot of them, just like we did in the CWC.
  14. Ekitike has been one of their best players so far, this season. Doubt he will stay on the bench., and for that transfer fee, doesn't make sense.
  15. 5 set piece goals from the 7. (I'll still take that though, we have looked deadly from corners and if Arsenal can win games that way, why not us.) We still need to better from open play. Hopefully Palmer returning, can bring that back.
  16. When you put it that way, it looks awful. Transfer policy seems like its to throw crap at the wall and see what sticks. And try to make a profit along the way. Tbf, they do get it right at times. Just wish they would take full advantage of this and build up on it with sure fire signings that can elevate the current squad.
  17. Real Madrid with Zidane might have been the club of his dreams at one point, but there's no question which club he values more now.
  18. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous at this level of management and when there is so much money and people's careers involved. An injury is ALWAYS a risk in this sport. That's why you have squad planning to make sure you have enough backup options. What would've happened if Delap got injured after Jackson had left and officially started playing for Bayern? What would our sporting directors have done then? The point is, they should not even have considered letting him leave if there was no one else incoming.
  19. St Etienne fan. Wonder whom he was supporting here.
  20. Brain dead move by Enzo F to ruin a counter. He hasn't been at his usual level since the start of the season.
