To me playing 3atb when our best RWB Reece is, out makes no sense. When playing 3atb with Reece and Chilwell bombing forward makes sense as they present attacking threat. Try a flat 4 and add an attacker because god knows we need more firepower up front. No more Chilwell at LW please.

We really are desperate for a Giroud, Jorgi type of signing.. full of exprerience, professional and different to what we have atm. But also keep in mind that we have to pick a player with the right personality too.. don't need another Ziyech, Auba, Lukaku situation.

Re : Mount, I always felt that once he won the holy grail that is the CL.. he's focused more on his image/brand rather than Mount the footballer. He's always been a genz tiktoker a somewhat of an entertainer, nothing wrong with it.. just something I see.

He reads the game so well. Not only is he technically good, his football brain is second to none. It always amazes me the speed his mind takes to make a decision based on play. Almost always there at the right time. What a player.

Class act.

Great for a 25 man squad, not so much as a starter. But what I like about him is his attitude, he may not have the best technical ability but his attitude is useful in a team sport.

How people don't see that Maatsen was lifting his whole arm to indicate offside rather than him trying to block it ala volleyball, eludes me. Also, very happy with what I have seen so far. The players actually look hungry, something that was non existent from last season. So many positives to build on, feeling a little more optimistic than before.

Jackson. What a signing, never gave up on anything, great buy by the board.

With a midfield consisting of Gallagher and Chuku... we are not doing too bad..

Seems like Poch picked a team based on personel.. it's all good playing a back 4 at pre season, playing a back 4 against Liverpool when your only quality CM is Enzo is dangerous. Enzo is not the fastest guy aswell, seems like once we get our targets in, we would mostly play with a back 4. We're adapting for now.

Whether we get him or not, this has been an amazing rollercoaster and a great read..
