I mean I get why they decided to hire Lampard on short term before getting a new manager. Look at how much Potter probably cost us with the hire and fire, they probably don't want to make a rash decision. At the end of the day it is a business and they have to be smart about spending so much on managerial appointments, they don't want to make the same mistake twice. Hopefully they can make the best decision with the directors in place. As for the CL this season, well we have a history of winning it with an interim ex Chelsea player... you just never know, football is weird sometimes.

Potter seems like a nice man, too nice actually. He didn't really have that presence about him, and at Chelsea you need that character to be able to handle these type of players. Also it says that the players were shocked he was gone.. well you lot didn't seem to be playing for him in the first place. Not sure who I would like next but I just hope they can bring out the quality of the young talent we currently have.

I think we will just have to tough it out and hope we don't get in a relegation battle with Potter and try to get Nagelsmann at the start of next season. Too much money will be needed to sack Potter now and get JN straight away.

Honestly, I have been very patient with Potter but this is clearly too much of a big step for him. With managing big clubs, you also need to be able to handle their egos. Nobody really seems to care atm.
