  1. When was the last time a Mexican won anything? You don't even have a Cricket World Cup and an Asian Cup like Australia.
  2. Nah fuck him. The manager should give every player a right bollocking for not living up to the standard of the manager.
  3. Remember when people got anal and upset about him wanting the squad number '74'? And then it didn't happen? Remember how hilarious and embarassing it was?
  4. Everyone is a little too obsessed with Arsenal.
  5. Pirlo is one of the most lazy and ineffecitve defenders in the entire sport. Always has been, always will be.
  6. This is the year 2015 and we as a species still aren't fucking past actually knowing what 'racism' is.
  7. There is a difference between stating that Drogba is a 'shit singer' and carrying on about it like a headless chook. There isn't anything wrong with stating that, it just begins to rustle people's jimmies when said once too often. One off coments are always fine, I just don't think it's always necessary to carry on about something once you've made your initial point. Certain members are very guilty of repitition...
  8. In fact Jose was defending the team and the club with his 'digs' at the other clubs. Many have been critical of Chelsea's approach to winning this titile and Jose has adressed said critics suitably. If you can't see that he having a light hearted joke at the critic's expense than perhaps a visit to the opthalmologist is best!
  9. Fuck off you. This is my jurisdiction.
  10. Clam down, you oyster. No need for unpleasentries. Stop winding people up or you'll find yourself on the wrong end of one the admin's boots.
  11. oi i'm laffin at this m8. Fuck Sydney and Melbourne. They always get those sort of players. I'd rather see him at Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Wellington, Newcastle, or literally any fucking team outside of those two fucking cities.
  12. I never said either of those things. I was merely mentioning not many players have capacity to love one club enough to stay through thick and thin.
  13. I'm sure if given the proper coaching and instill with the correct attitude he can become the player many hope him to be. Whether that can be done is yet to be seen. The world is at his feet; he is trusted by the manager and the club has high hopes. He has to do the rest; he can only blame himself for his own failure.
  14. I disagree with your assessment of Carvajal, Nacho and Illaramendi. The three are all very talented and very promising players. I think they could be fantastic players but only if provided with stability and trust that Real Madrid can't offer them. Two of the three are alumni from the Real Castilla, so I can see why some faithful to Real would be fond of them. They have direct roots to the city and the club and it most be heartbreaking to see them casually tossed to the side in favour of Galacticos.
  15. It's easy to love a club when it is paying mega bucks and winning tropies left and right. Do I think Xavi loves Barcelona? Yes, I do. Do I belive that Xavi would have left Barcelona if he weren't payed so well and weren't winning trophies? Yes, I do believe that also. Perhaps not though, perhaps he would have been a Matt le Tissier sort that stayed through thick and thin. But he is a very rare character. I don't believe that most people love their clubs to the point of le Tissier though. It's a scenario we can never know with Xavi. It's an easy hypothetical to forsee. Barcelona in dire straights, a good offer comes in for one of the best CMs in the world. It would be hard for both club and man to resist. For Lampard his father is a West Ham legend, he himself played for West Ham for over 6 years. Wouldn't it make sense for Lamps to have West Ham close in his heart? But that doesn't seem to be the case. Don't forget not everyone necessarily has a club they adore. Some people follow players not the clubs.
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32877349 Perez is an idiot. For those lacking self-awareness, how Real Madrid is perceived now is very much how people used to (perhaps some still do) perceive Chelsea. A rich idiot for an owner with an itchy firing finger and a club that overpays and buys success.
  17. Rooney the man that held ManUtd at ransom? Not once but twice? Suuuure. He really loves United doesn't he? Gerrard the man that wanted to join Chelsea until his family were threatened? Suuure. I'll give you that he cares for his family and that is admirable but I don't buy that this youngster who was an Evertonian actually cares about Liverpool. Those big contracts sure do ease loyalty, eh? Xavi the man instead of retiring as a one club man is going to Qatar to earn €30,000,000 ? Heh, those euros speak loudly don't they? I seem to recall that Drogba was reviled for quite some time by Chelsea fans...
  18. Personally a footballer that I don't know at all and has nothing to do with my life (and vice versa) isn't the same as a women I've had intimate emotions for. It's not even in the same ballpark. I don't think a footballer should live their on the basis of 'what will make the fans happy'. Just like people shouldn't live their lives to make their parents happy or whatever. If going to ManCity is what he wanted to do, then good for him. Football is a pisssmall part of my life, I'm not going to waste my time being 'hurt' and 'emotional' over one player that I don't even know on a personal level. He hasn't wronged me in anyway, why should I hate him? Anyway I've never bought into players 'loving the fans', or 'loving the club'. It is all just words for the sake of saying them. An easy way to buy popularity. I don't buy any of the words people like Fabregas, Xavi, Messi, Terry, Rooney, Drogba, or anyone else say. All I care about is the performance on the pitch. Lampard showed immense ability and technique for the club on several hundred different occasions. That is what I remember not some idealised concept of 'legends' and 'loyalty'.
  19. I still like Lampard. I don't care about any of this.
  20. ITT people saying Frank can't celebrate or comment his only CL win. You people.
  21. To keep options open. If De Gea leaves, it is better to have the option of Cech than not at all.
  22. No. United will not lose De Gea. The man will be an expensive transfer and added on top of that Iker Casillas has refused to leave until his contract expires in two years and Keylor Navas are also agreed with that sentiment. Real Madrid will not spend a lot of money for De Gea, give him a huge contract while Casillas and Navas are still earning even more money. They are both happy to sit on the bench whilst bleeding the club dry. Iker Casillas will earn upwards of £20,000,000 until his contract ends. Unless the situation changes Real Madrid are in a position where they can't buy another Goalkeeper.
  23. @Chelsea Legend 11, Stop being a condescending jerk. If not for others, for yourself. @nadavTKL, You aren't being an angel either in this 'discussion'. Just becuase you two rustle eachother jimmies doesn't mean you should start having a sledging contest in public. And that is that.
  24. I think we should crucify this false-prophet.
  25. Either it was causing slowdown for some users or some sort of copyright issue. Certain companies get anal when their players images are 'infringed'.
