Bale is useless you say...If he had a proper coach I believe he would become incredible. I imagine it would be hard to blossom under 'Arry. Bale's strengths: Pace, Stamina, Dribbling, Crossing, Shot Power. If he could be fine polished by a great coach, Bale's potential is huge. The amount of times people have said 'we need a RW, RB and CM' now must be in the millions. It should go without saying by now.

More than likely. He is an incredible dribbler and has bit of pace to burn. But he is very much in the Del Piero/Totti Secondary Striker mold.

Santon can play at LB but that is not his natural position. He is much more comfortable at RB. It's like playing Ashley at RB, capable but not comfortable. The only reason he gets played LB a lot was his days under Josè at Inter Milan. Maicon was too good a RB to be displaced by Santon and Inter lacking a real LB (Chivu & Cordoba are CBs) played Santon there.

A Geordie friend of mine thinks Newcastle are really solid in the RB department. They have Davide Santon and Danny Simpson, so they don't really need Debuchy. He said they desperatly need a LB as Gutierrez had to play in the postion to often last season.

In all honesty he will probably be great in a few years. But right now, I would rather Strootman, ManUtd are trying to sign him. Fergie seems to rate Strootman in the same class as Keane. Keane was indeed scum but he was a hell of a player.

No, I've heard reports that he is very good for CSKA. He doesn't score as many goals, but they all come in a similar fashion (late arrivals into the box, long shots etc.). All of his National team goals have been scored in the Euro qualifiers and the tournament itself.

He should be the designated Penaly taker when Lamps isn't available.
