You guys are all talking about disturbing films and what not but have neglected to mention Irreversible...or anything by Gaspar Noé. Also Mysterious Skin is worth a shout. Go download that.
-
So what? That's the same as every transfer.
-
So happy for Joe Cole. West ham have a very English squad.
-
I generally don't tell unless someone asks. And that rarely happens.
-
And now I'm going to close back up because you've brought attention to it.

Joy Division probably isn't the best music to listen to at 2am.

It's a good thing I haven't been 14 for a while. I honestly don't care if a 14 year old or a 16 year old has a couple of beers with adults. I actually think that can be a good thing but getting wasted from bing drinking is something different. I've been there, done some shit, seen some shit, and I can tell you I don't want my children (if I have any) to have a similar adolescence to me. They can make all the mistakes they want when they are adults but not when they are snot nosed teenagers that think they are more mature then they are. I've had some times I'd never want to forget and I've lost my dignity several times over, sometimes I wonder if it was worth it.

16 year olds shouldn't be doing that shit.
-
Would you rather 40' heat? Well at least we can have a few drinks in a pool. Night swimming and alcohol, what could go wrong?
-
Alright. At least the snow is soft. Try to land on it.

I blame post-modern society and lack of funding for public schools. Also immigration (to what country, I don't know) is probably to blame also.

More like 4-2-2-1 lolololololol see what I did there?

Newcastle have a bloody monopoly in the French League. Wenger must be furious that the Geordies are stealing all his Frenchies.
-
RIP I hate looking at his smiling face knowing that he has just died in the last day. So sad and frightening.
-
The French teams are just bad, especially the national team. I have an issue against your national team, I always make grand statements towards my mates about the French team and then the Frogs do the opposite of what I say and make me look like an idiotic twat that knows nothing of football. "France will beat Italy in the final. They just outclass them in every way and Zidane has been playing like never before." "Gourcuff will shine this World Cup. He will prove all his doubters wrong." "France will at least get to the World Cup Quaters." "Benzema will have an incredible Euros." "France will at least get to the Semis." Fuck your country, viva Belgium. I will now start making grand statements about Belgium at every oppurtunity, maybe they'll be a source of pride and instead of disappointment.

What attributes do Brazillian academies encourage? Popular Australian sports have always leaned more towards Aussie Rules football and the Rugby codes. Those games are much more physical and rough than football. One of the main aspects of Aussie Rules is using other players (oppposing and team mates) as launch pads to get catch the ball easier. And you can see the influence come through in our players. You can't really list too many Aussie players with flair of technical ability but you could list dozens with amazing physical presence and work rate. Timmy Cahill, Lucas Neil, Mark Viduka, Brett Emerton, Craig Moore, Luke Wilkshire, etc. And even though a lot of players selected have never even played club football in the same countries the team's chemistry always seem to be very high. Unlike countries like England and Netherlands where all the players seem to hate eachother.

I think the Adkins-Southampton scenario was caused by behind the scenes problems. He may have argued or fought with some of the higher ups leading to his dismissal.
-
That is a brilliant saying. I remember when I was really young (6/7) when we played football (soccer...) everyone played as a striker; there were even no goalkeepers (or 'goldies'). They'd be about 20 kids playing and only two or three of them had actually watched a game! I had terrible reaction time and hand eye coordination till I was about 15! So I never played sports much.
-
Never did I and now I've seen it twice in consecutive posts.
-
Then why did you mention Russia and the Congo? Why not just say 'pubs that I don't go to' or something similar? You're the one that brought it up.
-
I know what your saying but some people could infer from your post that you disregard their opinions because they are foreign. Here is how it could happen: You use the phrase "apparently Chelsea fans" when describing those who criticise Mikel. So plastics or whatever you want to call them. You say you didn't meet any in England. Then you point out there probably is that sort of 'apparent fans' in other countries. Therefore someone might infer that you think English fans are superior to foreign fans.
-
So you think less of someone if they don't/didn't go to the same pub/train/games as you?
-
Did some of you fellas miss the annoucement the staff made a few days ago? YOU'LL GET AN INSTA BAN IF YOU KEEP INSULTING EACHOTHER
-
He actually said that the club 'should be signing those players' not that the club is actually able to.
-
Yeah, but that's only one game isn't it? He was probably given more freedom to go fowards when playing for France compared to when he was playing for Chelsea. I do agree that he is much more mobile that Mikel, but I thinks that more due to his size and body shape. He is much smaller and thinner than Mikel so I guess that loans itself to speed and agility. Not a decisive factor of course but influential.
