  1. Yes, I did know that. Neuer reminds me of Hitler Youth.
  2. Germany's downfall will be their lack of a leader. Despite popular opinion I'm 100% convinced that both Lahm and Schweinsteiger are not leaders of any sort. Terrific players, no doubt but leaders of men they are not. This German team will not win the World Cup or the Euros, even though they are quite possibly the most stacked and talented German team for a long time. They lack the perfect cohesion and mechanical nature of past German teams. Lowe has given Germany flair and panaché but taken away their stereotypical 'boring, efficient, win at all costs' nature. I'd take the German team from 2006 over this one. Michael Ballack being one of the main reasons. Not often you see a barrel chested man take games by the scruff of their neck and alpha male his team to victory. Manuel Neuer is a clown that has to be replaced by Ter-Stegen, Adlér or even Leno. Mario Gotze will be less than flatering at Bayern. He will be constantly outshined by Draxler, Ozil, Muller, Kroos and Reus. André Schurrle will replace Podolski as the 'average for club, brilliant for nation' German. Stefan Kiessling is a machine that has been overlooked by Germany. Mario Gomez should be nowhere near die Mannschaft if they want to win anything. Schmelzer, Howedes, Hummels and Lahm should be the default starting back four.
  3. I'm an IT guy. You don't want to piss off an IT guy.
  4. Relgion? Human physiology? Getting the fuck outta here, this is bat country.
  5. It was 3pm on a sunny Brisbane after noon when the drugs began to take hold.
  6. Let's hope he doesn't turn out like Lukasz Podolski...
  7. I think you should invest/pirate a little more sophisticated editing software.
  8. 2006 World Cup 2008 Euros England should have easily made the semis for both of those tournaments. With the team they had, it should have been a no brainer. They had talent stacked in every position on the field. Maybe lacked a clever playmaker like Deco or Sneijder but that alone shouldn't have held them back too much. Their squad list read out like beautiful song: Michael Owen Frank Lampard John Terry Ashley Cole Joe Cole Steven Gerrard Jamie Carragher David Beckham Rio Ferdinand Wayne Rooney Gary Neville Owen Hargreaves Michael Carrick Joe Cole - Michael Owen - David Beckham Frank Lampard - Michael Carrick Owen Hargreaves Ashley Cole - Rio Ferdinand - John Terry - Gary Neville David James Look at that team. Great isn't it? Not much flair or panaché but the talent is there. Look at the team they fielded just recently: Wayne Rooney - Daniel Sturridge Danny Welbeck - Steven Gerrard - Michael Carrick - Andros Townsend Leighton Baines - Phil Jagielka - Gary Cahill - Chris Smalling Joe Hart There are three players I'm very fond of in that team. Jagielka, Baines and Carrick. The rest at the moment are 'meh'.
  9. What I'd give for coverage of the Serie A in Australia. It's such an interesting league.
  10. Maybe....but when it comes down to it he is a just another human, so he can play for whomever he feels the most passion for.
  11. I don't know what the 4-3-3 has to do with anything because from what I see José has been playing a 4-2-3-1.
  12. He does play in the same position. Same position in the field, different playing styles. It's like saying that Dani Alves and Branislav Ivanovic play in the same position, they do; they are both right fullbacks but they are completely different players. At Chelsea their is only two positions in the midfield and Witsel and Pogba would be fighting for those two positions.
  13. I think we should sign that Sam Rhodes fella. I hear he is a cunt in real life but he gets the job done, kind of like Suarez. Personally, I'd like to see Shaw signed in January, I don't care if he doesn't join till next season, I want his signature secured, ASAP.
  14. I haven't seen too much of him outside of the Champions League, so I can't really comment. A side affect of living in Australia with limited coverage outside of the A-League and EPL. Our coverage of the EPL is probably better than England's, haha. I could get some Bundesliga and Eredivise matches but at the cost of AUD$30 p/month...and that is incredibly expensive.
  15. But damn, you have to admit Bainesy is one hell of an attacking FB. Easily the best attacking Left Back in the world.
  16. I don't believe buying Nemanja is a smart thing to do. It's mainly the principle of the matter; buying Nemanja would be a statement of past foolishness and an admission that Chelsea were wrong. I believe clubs have to have a facade of being infallible even though we all know they are not. The club has too make sure whether true or not that all decision they make are the right ones, even if it's just the illusion of being 'right'.
  17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA TOO FUCKING HILARIOUS MATE, THAT'S A BONZA OF A JOKE YOU'VE PULLED UP THERE, COBBER. I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD MY MOUTH GOT AS DRY AS A DEAD DINGO'S DONGER. STRUTH MATE, NO FUCKING AROUND HERE, I'M AS TRUE BLUE AS YOU GET, FUCK OATH.
  18. Well, he has proved himself in the League One. Championship next, please.
  19. SPOILERS GOSH, I WAS GOING TO WATCH IT LATER
  20. The Australian national team is a bunch of 35 year old has beens that play for minow teams in the middle of nowhere. And if they aren't 35, they are 25 year old men that have cashed it with large paychecks from the middle east. I'd rather have Mitch Nichols in the team than Tim Cahill. Play youth from the A-League, it's better than these pathetic bastards. The golden generation is finished. Get the fuck over it and move on. Kewell has been shit since 2004. Cahill has been rubbish since 2011. Neil was never that great and awful cunt to boot.
