Chelsea make it so FREAKING EASY TO BE HATED

There are some absolutely garbage threads being started on here these days. -
Should AVB be sacked for Mourinho?
nullabletype replied to Justin_3d's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
No it doesn't, he has produced various talent sure, but he spends money just like any other club, and he realistically hasn't produced any more talent that any half decent manager graced with longevity wouldn't. More so, as I pointed out, half on that list were players from the same era. If anything, you've proved that he produced one amazingly strong group of players and that his production slowed ever since. In Beckhams heyday, look at the amount of super young players MUFC had produced. Look at their current youth, realistically how many of them are superstars who you'd have at Chelsea now? Of course Ferguson is successful year after year, but it's not because he produces youngsters like its nobody's business. -

I think you're missing the point. People talk about Ferguson like he has some sort of conveyor belt of young talent just waiting to go, like he's year in year out producing superstar youngsters. The truth is, if most good managers were given the same time (26 years) and shown the patience that Ferguson was they'd probably produce of a list of 12 youth success stories too. Also, half the players on that list you provided were from the same era and Ferguson hasn't really produced players to that standard since. Never mind the fact that it's not like Ferguson does it all on his own. It's not like he has a whole team of staff, youth coaches, scouts etc to help him find and produce such talent. -

I love when people say things like this. You're tired of the "managerial merry go round" so your answer is... sack the current manager? What? -

Quote yourself all you want, it's a daft quote. The fact that you, and other people, expect managers to have success after one season is the very reason this club is in the mess it is. If we stick with AVB and 3 seasons down the line are successful, then I'll look back on this shit season quite happily. In fact, so will everybody. Which is why the people on this forum who aren't first class tubes accept the state of things and are willing to wait. It baffles me how fans can call for a managers head after their first shite season with a shite, spoilt brat filled squad. And then want to know why the next manager after them fails in a season, and the manager after him, and him... -
Yeah, it was top notch. And as for red trim, I like it. There's red in the crest so it makes sense. That "leak" though, does nothing for me. My brother said it would make a good Rangers kit and I agreed, I hated the last two Rangers kits so there's that.

Hey guy, do you ever get bored of being a clown? And how come you ignored the post in which I quoted you in the "AVB out?" thread? Do you just pick and a choose your barneys? He doesn't answer this question, as you well know, as he's since posted and ignored it. I put it to him in the other thread. The truth of the matter is there is nobody else to take over and he knows this. He craves negativity and spouts rubbish for the sake of doing so. Then when he gets called out or put in place he just insults people or tries his best to talk down to them. I bet I can name somebody who's more dumb than both those people... -

Okay then, humour me. If you woke up tomorrow and all over the back pages was printed, "AVB Sacked!". What then? Out of all of the available managers, if you could choose one, who would it be? -

It is of great amusement to me that the "AVB out?" thread has reached 35 pages in length. I can't believe people want to see him go. It's like they haven't learnt anything. If this guy isn't given another few seasons to prove himself then I just don't know. -
Well nothing in this side has changed since he came along. I'm just interested to see will he actually thrive in a more efficient attacking team.

AVB out, Roman Ambramovich out, Sack the board, JT the racist out, the rest of the squad out, liquidate the club! -
Personally, just as with AVB, I'm not too bothered about what Torres can produce this season. I'll be far more interested to see what he's like after the assumed squad rebuild in the summer. Assuming he's kept.

It stands to reason that your goalkeeper should become more error prone when the rest of the team is playing like shit and thus giving the opposition more chances to attack your end.

What irks me is that refs never seem to be held responsible for huge mistakes. It's understandable that they should make mistakes, but week in week out we watch refs in various EPL matches make horrendous calls which sway games, only for the same guy to be in charge of another big game the following week.

I completely agree that statistics are only half the story, in fact, I say it often myself and it's rare I would drop stats without some sort of observation to back them up. I just feel in this case there isn't any need to. What Drogba has done over the last eight years is irrelevant in so much as that's not what he's going to produce now. Torres' goal return over the last year has been pathetic, but it's not like Drogba has produced very much himself. Drogba's contribution only remains to be undervalued because at present he offers little value. He blows as hot and cold as Torres. Drogba is likely to be out the door this summer and Torres will probably be sticking around, and for that reason alone I'd rather see Torres get the game time. However, if when Drogba comes back he's firing on all cylinders, then by all means I hope AVB plays him. We need all we can get at the minute. Truth of the matter is neither is doing anything for me right now. We can talk about all Drogba has done in the past for as long as we like, but we can't play the guy based on reputation. The point to my original post was that a lot of people have this idea that Didier is going to swoop in from the ACON and save the day. Hopefully he does, but let's be realisitic, it's probably not going to happen. The stats were just to give a realistic comparison to what our two options are accomplishing. As it goes, playing either of our star strikers is like turning up to a hard-on competition with the biggest limp dick, it's only good for pissing. Neither is doing the job they are supposed to, so getting our hopes up for a Drogba return just seems naive.

Well I wouldn't because I like to stay objective. For an example, I didn't care much for the Saurez witch hunt which I posted about on this and other forums I use. As for the camera shot, I'm not suggesting that that particular shot was selective, but rather it didn't capture the whole situation but merely the tail end of it. The shot however is being used selectively. For example, the people who use it never acknowledge that there was more of an exchange prior to that moment that the camera missed. JT's excuse if true, stands up even with that shot in mind because he admitted to saying what he did as a retort to deny an accusation.

Speaking personally, no. I don't just assume somebody is guilty of something because they don't play for the team I support. Let me get this straight, I don't think John Terry is guilty, I believe his version of events. Equally, I don't think Anton Ferdinand is a liar. I do believe that this is probably I giant mix up, which lest we forget, wasn't going to come to anything if it hadn't been for the one singular complaint to the police, and a (very possibly) carefully selected video clip uploaded to YouTube.
