What sort of statement does that send to the players if we take a stand against huge wages to get Mata on £60k a week n then not even a year later give Hazard (or even Hulk, for that matter) a fat contract that's pretty much going to be in the £120+ range?? Sounds shady. ######

So cynical, some of our fans are to genuinely under appreciate what Mata has done for our club this season. He isn't the best player in the world (in fact, i dont even recall anyone saying he was) but he is the sole spark on our floundering team. The fact alone that he has achieved what he has on our uninspiring team should warrant him cult status among the faithfuls. Point being, he has worked damn hard and done damn well in the circumstances and in no way can his efforts go unnoticed, especially to think that he's come all this way, and we haven't even been able to exploit his best position yet. So in conclusion, fuck off if you're trying to undermine the boys role on this team. You're not the only one cringing during games at this forgettable season. In all fairness, though, the quality of our players can be very low at times.

Just as an observation, it seems like bosingwa has strict orders to sit on bale n keep him quiet. So far that's kept a huge gap between him n Ramires going forward. N Lampard n essien keeping the shape of the 4-2-3-1 our attacks just die off. ######
