the ONE time out of the year when you guys in Europe have to get up before 6am to watch 4 or our (just about) 60+ games a season all you guys do is complain? I live in California, -9 hours difference. we over here in the USA have to get up before 630 every match day to catch the game. watching the game yesterday at 3pm was a huge blessing!!!! anyways, enough with this rant. want to see us smash them! as well as lukaku and torres up top. want a STRONG team out there. want to see a little demo for the season.

Lukaku is our #9 this year. Torres will not get a run like he used to. Actually I think JM might try the Hernandez-Rooney trick with lukaku taking most of the bodies off the line for Torres to sneak behind. Also- mata will not play traditional #10 role. He will play more outside but able to roam. Honestly, I think Azpi will be a contender for player of the year. That guy just puts in 110% every game. Even if he is having an off game, you never see him not hussle. Rant over. Haha

I dont view Anelka being a striker, my best image of him is playing outside the striker in a 4-3-3, cutting in and cleaning up scraps, or in a CAM role.

Torres will not return to Spain unless its with Athletico. He isn't a problem player like Suarez where the board will want him to leave. Chelsea is getting so much cash to have his name on the back of their shirts... Won't happen this first year under Mou. sorry.

I don't think a lot of us knows what goes on behind the scenes. Torres has admitted numerous times about how is family is happy here, im sure he has expressed concern over this. And with the Europa League final celebrations, it was the first time, I have seen Torres more of a part of the team than before. I think Jose and Torres will have a genuine talk about the future. You cannot question torres' skills (of the past), Jose knows how good he CAN be. AND he hasnt played for him yet. I think we will wait to see what pops up for transfers and offers. But I do feel Torres (behind the scenes) is becoming a bigger part of the club than he used to be. (and the shirt sales $$$$$$$$) I think he gets until the winter to show himself to Jose. He had a great end of the season run. Its Jose's team now. We do not know what types of plans he has currently, will have to wait for the first session of training. Im just excited for this new era. with or without torres, this team will become a european force and exiting the group stage of champions league will be a thing of the past. Go Blues!
