  1. Never knew he was such a self centred cunt who only looks out for himself until now. He has no integrity whatsoever. Theres no going back from here as he will never be received by NYFC management and fans that he has pissed off and he has already burnt his bridges (No pun intended) at chelsea. so he will essentially retire at city
  2. I couldn't give a fuck about Law or Utd. What lampard did is an act of betrayal and dishonesty and I (I can only speak for myself) do not have love or respect for a dishonest and self centred person. If that makes me a "bad fan/person" so be it. couldn't give a shit either way. he gets zero love from me and those that share my sentiment have every right to feel this way.
  3. Uefa needs to step in and take actions bevause this is definitely a con to defeat ffp. It will be interesting to see nyfc's response to all of this and how city spin it.
  4. Return to where?, if Chelsea then he can fuck off. He's not welcomed back here after his recent decision/action.
  5. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2855208/JAMIE-REDKNAPP-Frank-Lampard-winner-d-love-help-City-beat-Chelsea-title.html His cousin who knows him better than most was right all along.
  6. I would respect him a little if he stopped pretending like this wasn't his plan all along and if he scores against us at the bridge he might as well kiss the city badge and celebrate the goal and spare us the misunderstood hero who loves CFC bullshit.
  7. Atleast now we know He's not playing for City for fitness reasons and against his own will since the MLS season starts on the 8th of march and the premier league season finishes in May. he should cut the bullshit and own up to it instead of acting like some helpless innocent person forced to commit to the loan contract against his own will or whatever bullshit narrative he was trying to feed those who are gullible or blind enough to believe it.
  8. Man city have extended the contract of he who shall not be named to the end of the season. Thoughts?
  9. You thought he had a future here? I have learned to lower my expectation on these young players at Chelsea, that way you don't end up getting to dissappointed when your favourite youth eventually gets sold off after years of loan deals.
  10. Costa's all round game is lacking and that much is obvious to everyone. The sheer frequency at which attacking momentum breaks down at his feet is staggering. I have seen average strikers with significantly better hold up and link up play. At this level, its unacceptable not to have the confidence in your striker's ability to bring others into play. When he scores snd we win, his flaws can be overlooked but when he doesn't, he has no reedeming features to fall back on and you need more than goals from your srriker at this level. Very frustrating player to watch
  11. You have a point. But do these players realise that they are nothing more than cash cows to our management. Some of them move here genuinely believing they will have a chance to make it here permanently.
  12. Rijeka-based agent Predrag Racki regarding the move. "If he chooses Chelsea, Kramaric won't ever set foot on the Stamford Bridge pitch," he said. "He'll get lost in Holland, just like Delac, Pasalic or Perica. All that 'glitter' lasts two or three days" And I absolutely agree with him. He's a very talented player with a bright future ahead of him why agree to a move that will more than likely disrupt your career.
  13. I absolutely agree with you here but to answer your question. Reputation/perception that's why. A former world class player who some may still blindly see as world class showing increasing signs of decline and playing extremely poorly vs an irrelevant (in football circuit) LB bought from Gillingham for 125,000. In this situation the manager has to like and rate the underdog extrmely highly before he can get a proper chance over the established player even if it's evidently clear that the underdog is outperforming the ageing and declining superstar. that's football politics and human nature sadly.
  14. I absolutely agree with you that moving on is best for his career. But according to some "if you are good enough, you will make it here". Bertrand's treatment has basically busted that theory. It's more like if the manager likes/rates you, you will make it here. Jose never rated him from the start for whatever reason. Bertrand never stood a chance.
  15. I will be very angry if we end up losing Bertrand and it looks very likely at this point. He's worked incredibly hard to reach his current level which is high regardless of what some think and has remained extremely patient and humble for the most part bar his little tantrum towards Jose recently (who can blame him). I lost count on the amount of loans we sent him out on and yet kept his head down and remaibed fully motivated and did brilliantly whenever called upon. He's the one player that does deserve to make it here based on both merit and sentimental values and no one will ever convince me that he's not more than good enough to play for a top team like Chelsea. He's proven his competency already.
  16. Firstly that's nothing more than your opinion that we weren't covered at LB. Even if that was true (which it isn't imo) is that a justification to spend that amoiunt for a mere squad player in a position where players generally don't cost alot. paying that much for a LB and one with such huge reputation (He was rated as the best LB in Europe last season) just to be back up is very excessive and stupid no matter how one looks at it.
  17. Jose did exactly the same thing at Madrid when he bought Coentrao for 30m to be back up to marcelo and he was rightly criticised for it. It's baffling tbh. Most people felt Bertrand was more than sufficient cover at LB to Azpi either that or we should have just kept Ashley. When we were linked to him, I thought Azpi was going to be moved back to RB and/or be a floater and cover both position as the best LB in europe at the time will be a definite starter. If we knew this was Jose's plan there's no way in hell many would have supported the idea. spending 19m for a backup in a position you already have cover for is stupid especially if you are the type of manager that favours stability and doesn't like to rotate the starting 11/backline too much.
  18. It gets on my nerves how everything he says after we drop points is seen as mind games. Why can't it simply be him telling it how he sees it. Many Chelsea fans had the same feeling too that the referee was influenced by Cahill and Ivanovic's dive and the attention it received. It's very dissappointing when some Chelsea fans see it as mind games as well. It's not mind games or some clever attempt to divert attention away from the result, if he's telling the truth even if it has similar effect, I'm sure it's unintended. Fabregas doesn't get booked and probably would have been awarded the penalty if there wasn't a huge media focus on our players recent diving antics. fact. Haven't said that we brought it on ourselves and ivanovic is an idiot.
  19. Smart dad. I would want stability for my son as well.
  20. Apparently this is how families and relatives shake hands in Brazil
  21. But we knew this before kickoff and doesn't it bother you that we often seem to drop point against this "well drilled side" while teams like City usually obliterate such teams. Title winners always find ways to get past these "well drilled teams" and we are not showing the credentials atm.
  22. @skipper. TBH we were like Arsenal today. All foreplay no penetration. For all the posession we dominated in the 2nd half, I can't remember Forster making any decent save. That's the type of thing we mock Arsenal about in our fictures with them over the years. It shouldn't be something to celebrate. usually when teams like City drop points, the opposition goalkeeper wins man of the match. That wasn't the case today.
  23. They could go ahead of us on the table before Aguero even returns which is quite scary and Sergio isn't the type of striker that needs a run of games in roder to get going. If I was a betting man, I wouldn't be punting on us to win the league as things stand that's for sure.
