I see where you are coming from but you still expect some level of professionalism from the manager of a top flight football team. Kudos for having the maturity and intelligence to refute my statement without resorting to gutter language though.

Another one added to the ignore list

And that he's already done multiple times over the course of the season. That was even the first thing he did barely an hour after securing the league against Palace on BT sport. Why not let the premier league trophy/success (which is the ultimate form of revenge) do the talking for him. As a matter of fact, as classless and defensive as Ferguson was and God knows he defended man utd and the players to death, he's never had a dig at other clubs or managers under such circumstances because normally he, like virtually every other manager not named Jose, are to busy celebrating their success to even give that sort of thing attention.
-
What a matured and classy fella you are. I will not lower myself to your standard by trading insults with you.
-
I could see why you would consider speaking out against classless and unprofessional behavior from the likes of Jose and Costa an outdated outlook on life. birds of a feather, flock together and all that. Now let me return to calling a spade a spade, if you don't mind mr moderator.
-
Do people still count this " go support (insert club or name then " as insult for when they can conjure up any argument. I thought it got outdated 6 years ago.
-
That speech was classless and painful to watch. There can be absolutely no denying that jose is the most insecure top profile manager in world football. Even when he's celebrating, he feels the need to mock and have a dig at his rival.

Some people haven't learned their lesson from the torres debacle, I see.

Which loanees have a future at the club?

Whichever loanee the manager rates of favors. Performance/merit/talent is only a fraction of the equation. Bertrand Traore, Bamford and baker makes sense to most people but to Jose, it might be some random players like perica or Pasalic that fits the mold of what he's looking for. -
Playing the devil's advocate here. What's to say his timidness and unadventurous approach isn't down to Jose's instruction?. Knowing the type of manager Jose is, i wouldn't be surprised if he's given RLC the Zouma role in midfield which will be typical and disappointing.

I wasn't referring to boga (who hasn't had his debut anyway).
-
And this is very clear to those that follow youth football. Since he became a regular in the youth and reserve team, he's always been outperformed by other midfielders. 3 seasons ago Chalobah was the standout midfielder, 2 seasons ago, Lewis baker was the main man and last/this season, Colkett has been pulling the strings. To his defence, when he's playing well, He looks like a top top prospect but that doesn't happen often enough. I attribute his hype amongst Chelsea fans to his performance in the friendly against City (I was guilty of overhyping him after that performance as well, I will admit). The sentiment back then was, if he could play that well against the champions and a midfield consisting of Toure and Silva albeit in a friendly then the sky was the limit. his inconsistency and tendency to fade out of games has always been apparent. However he's still a very good prospect with strengths and weaknesses just like any other player

You can bet your top dollar it will likely be Izzy brown which would further strengthen the theory he favors size over talent.
-
I agree with this but what bothers me is the distinct lack of respect some fans still show him by implying he's nothing more than a fringe player, quality and impact wise. many are even calling for us to buy another striker next season to be 2nd choice behind Costa. The way some people address him you had think he's fabio Borini.
-
Sometimes I just don't get it. He's technically very good ( Most observers didn't liken his playing style from his marseille days to Henry for nothing), he scores goals consistently and actually has a higher goal scoring ratio than the "untouchable" Costa, shows up in big games and has proven very reliable indeed, Hasn't put a single foot wrong yet to most people, he's still nothing more than a mere squad player who's easily disposable. From a purely objective standpoint, He matches up favorably to Costa and he has the edge of being better technically (not even debatable) and doesn't cause any controversy. Given his goal scoring ratio, there's absolutely nothing to suggest he wouldn't have matched Costa's this season if giving the same amount of game time. he's not a one season wonder either as he's proven himself in the premier league before joining us. This only proves the theory that perception is everything in football. once people perceive you as a second rate player, it's near impossible to shake that tag regardless of how well you perform. "He's a player that was bought with the intention of being nothing more than second choice to the main striker i.e he is second rate"
-
I still don't think some people realise just how bad Sterling's finishing and overall end product in the final third is. All you have to do is watch him consistently. he has one of the weakest shooting I have seen, sometimes it genuinely looks like a back pass to the opposition goal keeper and his decision making can be atrocious too. He's an amazing ball carrier with great work ethic though.
-
Costa is clearly a symbol of morality and professionalism. In fact he has to be the front runner for fair play award this year. How can anyone label such a well mannered, matured, cool headed and highly professional player a thug. he's just misunderstood.
-
With England, it's always been about shoehorning all the best/star players available into the starting line up with little consideration for balance.
-
First off, You haven't explained how they would trick UEFA into allowing them field 12 players It just might work. Bamford has played on the right wing multiple times before for Derby and Middlesborough and Beharino is a versatile forward. it still feels like overkill to me with no natural width.
-
If he comes we might have to flog one of Oscar or cuadradro
-
Which is bizzare as dribbling was arguably his strongest point before joining us
-
I will be surprised if banford starts ahead of Beharino. Think it will be Kane and saido as the focal point. As much as I rate bamford and as well as he's done, those two are ahead of him in the peckig order due to their premier league experience
-
His positioning and calmness on the ball at all times are very impressive. He plays with maturity beyond his years
-
Personally I will line up like this Butland . . .Dier. . . .Stones. . . . .Chambers. . . .jenkinson prowse......Cahlobah . . . .Cheik. . . . Redmond Beharino Kane That team is not balanced and has width problem (It's somewhat negated by the threat of dier from the right and Redmond from the left) but that is the sacrifice that must be made in order to squeeze two of England's best players (Beharino and kane) into the same team. In any other formation, one of Kane or saido will have to be dropped. Whatever the case, Stones and Kane will be the first names on the team sheet. . .
