If Son were playing today and on the end of these Werner chances Spuds may have scored 6 already.
-
Timo……good lord
-
Oka, that’ll do. Let’s not let Spuds further inflate their goal difference now in case that factors in against us later.
-
Only downside in United potentially sacking EtH is that Tuchel is ready made to step in. And they have the tools there to put together a proper team under a top coach. Think he could do a decent rescue job for them.

Commentator here on the American broadcast said he’s the fastest player ever recorded in PL history I think. Not just CB. Insane. But my god, United look SHOCKING. A couple of dangerous counters aside they’ve looked terrible even with 11 men. Felt like they gave the ball away 50 times in their own half.
-
On replay that’s never a red. Thought at first he raked him with his studs and it was a certain red. But on replay nah, just tripped him.
-
Timo still the same mega low confidence player he was when he was here. You can tell he’s terrified of taking players on and has no composure when he does get through in goal. Even if I hate Spuds with a passion it’s still sad to see a former Chelsea player who I liked look like this.
-
Spuds HAVE to put away these chances or they’ll regret it.
-
Genuinely shocking that Ten Hag has been there 3 years now and has spent a truck load of money and United still look this devoid of a set style or pattern of play.
-
That’s a more shocking goal conceded than the first Nico Jackson goal against West Ham. Horrific from back to front.
-
As bang average as United are I think they’re going to beat Spuds fairly comfortably at home today. Especially with Son out.
-
As soon as he’s put under any pressure it’s as if he can’t help himself. He chooses to do the riskiest, dumbest shit. When he’s under no pressure his distribution is actually pretty solid and as a pure shot stopper he’s good. But if we’re playing teams that like to press high and at all times he’s going to be a constant worry. Really, a much of what I just said about Sanchez applies to Wes Fofana as well. He looks really solid most of the time this season until,he’s put under pressure. Then he panics and makes schoolboy blunders. At least Fofana has the excuse of still not being fully up to speed after 2 seasons out injured.

Madueke was very, very good running that right channel yesterday but he reverted back to the Madueke that has disappointed us in previous seasons once he got into the box. His end product looked to have turned a corner against Wolves but I don’t think it has. He's a very, very good option to have in the squad and will start plenty of matches. But I can’t help but feel that if Pedro Neto was in those same situations that he was in yesterday he’d have scored a couple of goals or set up a couple of them.

Our attack is sensational when firing on all cylinders. If we can simply be more composed at the back then we should be right up there this season. Sanchez needs to be under STRICT instruction from now on to not pass the ball in to the middle unless the midfielders he’s giving it to has literally nobody around them. Him passing it there when our player is being pressed is calamitous. Just keep it safe and simple, ffs. You’re not Ederson or Alisson, man!
-
Caicedo has had a rare poor game today. Looks really tired.
-
We need to keep hold of the ball, ffs!
-
We’ve had 4 chances to kill this game dead so far this second half and haven’t. With our keeper and defense I’m not sure this current lead we have is safe.
-
Both defenses look like they could concede with any attack. Them because they’re playing a suicidal high line and didn’t change it all half and us because our entire defense seems to panic every time a team gets near our box. Lavia needed for some control and physicality!
-
Can we officially say he’s the best attacking player in the PL now? I think we can.
-
We look unreal going forward but shambolic at the back.
-
It’s like he’s terrified of kicking it long. JUST BOOT IT AWAY YOU FUCKING IDIOT!
-
SANCEZ FUCKING HELL!!! WHAT IS HE FUCKING DOING??? Literally gift wrapped them 2 of the easiest goals you ever see.
-
Brighton look like the big team playing at home and taking it to us rather than the other way around.
-
Embarrassing defending out of absolutely nothing. Horrific goal to concede.
-
I’ll start to believe we’ve really turned the corner and become a serious team if we take care of business here against Brighton. They’re a team that always give the big clubs a tough game and are a very solid side so far this season. A composed, professional 3 points here and people will start taking us seriously. Myself included.
