  1. Hopefully the combination of poor weather and this match being meaningless to them will make this easier. No Kante against the physical West Brom may be something they can exploit, though.
  2. Would be super hype if the club announced a new contract for Conte on Saturday after we win the title. A nice, big fuck off to Inter!
  3. I must say, he looks fucking electric and almost unstoppable in this video. I knew he was very skillful for a striker but in these highlights he could pass as an excellent wide player.
  4. I'm guessing that something in the Adidas contract prevents us from unveiling/wearing the new Nike ones before the end of the season like we usually do?
  5. Why on earth would Conte leave the (soon to be) champions in the biggest league for a completely irrelevant, nearly midtable, faded star like Inter? A club who has zero chance of overtaking Juve any time soon. Not happening.
  6. Really shouldn't be a one or the other situation. We should be after both Lukaku and Morata. We can't have a massive drop off in quality between our main striker and the other options. That's a big thing that separates really good sides to the great ones. If we want to compete on all fronts next season we'll need a big squad packed with quality. In the PL alone, imagine lining up against the small teams using both Lukaku & Morata up top. Lukaku on his own is nearly unstoppable against those sides in an average Everton team. Surrounded by top class players here and with a strike partner like Morata could be lethal and we'd see the return of 6-0 or 7-0 type scores we saw in Mou's first spell.
  7. Perfectly put. When you think about it, Cesc is one of our most irreplaceable players. You just can't find players that can read games, pass, and control matches like he does. Theres absolutely no way we should even consider selling him unless Cesc himself demands it. And even then it has to be abroad. Will play huge part for us in Europe and the league next season.
  8. We all know Pulis is a low key Chelsea fan. Do us a favor on Friday, mate, and play a weakened side!
  9. Mate, I have nightmares about it coming down to the last match somehow. So nervous!
  10. Hope so. Think they'll raise their game for sure and give us a tougher time than they should do.
  11. Traore's pace against the slow Alonso has to be the main worry here.
  12. Cracking 90 points in Conte's first season when you consider the other clubs and managers we're competing with would be insane. We've got 4 extremely winnable matches left and if the players are as focused as they have been throughout the season we can do it. Hopefully there's no easing up.
  13. I think we'll be bringing in at least 4 quality signings this summer. There's no doubt in my mind that the board have realized that they made a huge error in not reinforcing the side last year. Whether or not the players we do bring in are Conte's choices is the biggest question. If the club reward Conte with his absolute first choice targets then I think we'll be dark horses for the CL. If you look at this season's, though, even without Conte getting his first choices he was able to do this well. The sign of an excellent coach who can get the best out of what he's got.
  14. Wonder if we may see Cesc start for a bit more cutting edge and incisive passing from the get go.
  15. Unlike sides like Sunderland, Boro at least have the ability to stifle and bus park. They aren't a complete embarrassment like Moyes's men. Luckily, a draw does them no good so they'll be open and vulnerable. Only way I can see us losing is if we just take 3 points against a relegation team at home for granted. They don't have pace up top that usually give Luiz and Cahill trouble and they don't have super athletes in midfield to cause Matic problems. Think we'll win 2-0.
  16. Speaking of Douglas Costa, if the rumors are true about Bayern going all out for Alexis maybe we should try to get him. Or Müller who doesn't appear to be first choice for them any longer.
  17. I just can't see Boro scoring against us unless it's a flukey passage of play. And if they do score it won't be more than once. No way they be able to stop us scoring. It won't be a cake walk Monday but as desperate as Boro will be, I'm hoping the hype our players will have with the whole world watching in the featured, standalone match will see us be too much for Boro. Expecting huge games from Diego and Hazard. If this were an away game I'd be super nervous. I trust Conte and the boys to handle business at home. The chance to win the title before Spuds even kick a ball next is a huge carrot on the end of the string.
  18. You realize you're allowed to say "fuck" on here, right?
  19. I don't think they'll take a step back in terms of quality, just league position. Simply because ourselves, City, and United will be buying much better players than they'll be able to attract. I think they'll be battling with Liverpool and Arse for that last CL spot.
  20. I think it'll be between us and the 2 Manchester clubs. Think Spuds will take a slight step back.
  21. Watching City it's pretty easy to see that with a couple of key signings they'll be an unbelievable side next season. The skill, pace, and understanding between their attacking players is sublime. They just need a couple of top class full backs and a long term Yaya replacement and they're title contenders again. Everyone hyped this season but next year will be even more insane.
  22. Just thinking about those cunty Spud fans who gave us shit after the Palace game.
  23. I didn't watch the game nor check Twitter for a couple hours during it so I didn't jinx it. Needless to say I just about jumped through the roof after seeing the result! LETS FUCKING GO!!!
  24. We can cope just fine without Kante for one match against Boro. Luiz, however, would be a huge worry. Zouma and Cahill together would make me super nervous.
  25. Like Willian, the club shouldn't even consider selling Fabregas. They are both fantastic options to have in the squad. Cesc, especially is the ultimate Plan B player. There are very few players in Europe with his skill set so it's not like we could go out and get another pass master type guy.
